Warnings and Safety Precautions
To prevent damage to your Vaultek unit or injury, please read the following safety precautions:
- Door Latching: Always ensure the door is properly latched when closing. The drawer requires a firm press and will lock automatically.
- Default Code: Change the default code immediately to prevent unauthorized access.
- Backup Keys: Never store backup keys inside the safe.
- Environmental Conditions: Do not expose the safe to extreme heat or cold, as battery power may be affected.
- Firearms Storage: Do not store loaded guns in the unit. Handle firearms with respect and store responsibly.
- Impenetrability: No safe is impenetrable. Consider enabling the 'Alert of Manual Unlock' feature for notifications of key or picked access.
- Choking Hazard: Keep this product away from small children as it may contain small items that could be a choking hazard.

Get to Know Your Vaultek Safe
The Vaultek Smart Station is a robust and secure Bluetooth® access safe, designed for storing valuables like firearms, jewelry, cash, and more. It offers high security with complete access control.

- LED Touch Screen: Displays information and allows interaction.
- Keypad and Scanner: For access via code or fingerprint.
- Wireless Charging Pad: For convenient device charging.

Keypad Illumination: Touch the proximity sensor near the right edge of the drawer to illuminate the keypad.
Power Requirements: The safe requires continuous connection to the AC adapter for normal function. It includes built-in backup power for approximately 16 hours of access during a power outage.
Touch Screen Features:
- The clock syncs with the Vaultek Bluetooth 2.0 app.
- Tap features to show/hide the clock, temperature, or humidity display.
- Use the touch zone to wake the safe and cycle through brightness levels.
On-Screen Editable Settings: Adjust sound, interior light brightness, toggle Bluetooth, toggle Nano Key, and change temperature units (Celsius/Fahrenheit).

- Security Sleep Mode: Activates after multiple incorrect access attempts, disabling input for four minutes.

Product Registration
Registering your safe provides benefits such as a three-year warranty and technical support. You will need your product number (found inside the battery door or under the bottom pad) and your key's 5 or 6-digit ID number. Register at vaulteksafe.com/support/product-registration.
Power and Charging
Power: The safe requires continuous AC power. It has built-in backup power for approximately 16 hours.
Wireless Charging Pad: Place your smartphone centered on the pad for charging. The safe will beep and display a charging icon. Ensure proper alignment for optimal charging.
Additional Ports: USB and USB-C ports are available for charging other devices.
LED Touch Screen Details
The LED touch screen offers customizable display options and visual feedback.
Status Indicators:
- Tamper Indicator: Alerts if the safe has been tampered with (incorrect keypad or fingerprint entry).
- Low Battery Warning: Sounds when the battery is low and continues every 8 minutes until depleted.
- Open Indicator: Shows if the drawer is left open.
- Locked Indicator (Plugged In): Indicates the drawer is locked and the safe is powered.
- Locked Indicator (Unplugged): Indicates the drawer is locked and displays the backup battery level.
On-Screen Editable Settings: Adjust sound, interior light brightness, toggle Bluetooth, toggle Nano Key, and change temperature units (Celsius/Fahrenheit) via the touch screen.
Hot Keys
Quickly adjust settings like sound, interior LED brightness, low battery warning, manual unlock alerts, remote unlock by phone, and dual entry mode using specific key combinations.
Biometric Scanner Operations
Overview: Biometrics authenticate users based on unique physical characteristics. Vaultek's technology provides fast and accurate fingerprint matching.
Programming Admin Prints (1 & 2): These are the first two fingerprints enrolled and are required to authorize additional users.
Enrolling Prints (3-20): Follow the steps to add more fingerprints, requiring authorization from an administrative print.
Helpful Programming Tips: Place the core of the fingerprint flat on the scanner, rotate your finger slightly between scans for better accuracy, and ensure fingers are clean and dry.
Troubleshooting Low Success Rate: Program the same fingerprint multiple times or try your thumb for better surface area.
Delete Fingerprints: Individual fingerprints cannot be deleted via the keypad. Use the Vaultek Bluetooth 2.0 app to delete fingerprints. A factory reset will erase all programmed data, including fingerprints.
Vaultek Bluetooth 2.0 App
The app provides enhanced control and access to safe features.
App Features: Unlock Safe, Check Battery Levels, Toggle Sound, Adjust Interior Light, Manage Nano Key, Manage Fingerprints, View History Log.
Helpful Tips:
- Toggle Remote Unlock by Phone: Enable/disable phone unlock via the app using specific key combinations.
- Toggle App Connection ON/OFF: Control app communication.
- Unpair Phone App: Remove paired smartphones from the safe.
- History Log Timestamp: Sync phone time with the safe's history log by removing and reinstalling the battery.
Pairing:
- Download the Vaultek Bluetooth 2.0 app.
- Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is ON and open the app.
- Create a Pattern Lock for added security.
- Select your safe from the list and follow on-screen prompts to pair. The approximate pairing range is 25 feet.
Privacy Notice: Vaultek does not access personal information. App permissions are for safe settings and communication only.
Nano Key 2.0 Technology
Provides quick access to your safe. Nano Key 2.0 and Nano Key 2.0 Biometric are sold separately.
Pairing: Requires being within 6 feet of the safe. Follow on-screen prompts for pairing Nano Key 2.0 or Nano Key 2.0 Biometric.
Unpairing: Press and hold specific buttons to unpair all Nano Keys from the safe's memory.
Enable/Disable: Temporarily disable Nano Key functionality via the touch screen or app without unpairing.

Common Issues:
- Low Fingerprint Success Rate: Reprogram fingerprints or try your thumb.
- Unable to Pair to App: Ensure you have downloaded the correct Vaultek Bluetooth 2.0 app.
- Wireless Charging Issues: Ensure proper alignment of the device on the charging pad.
- Safe Clock Incorrect: Sync the clock by pairing the safe with your phone via the Bluetooth app.
Factory Reset: Erases all programmed information and restores the safe to default settings. Ensure the safe is plugged in before performing a factory reset.
Warranty Information
Vaultek guarantees its safes against defects in materials or workmanship for two years from the date of original purchase from an authorized dealer, and three years with verified product registration. The warranty covers normal use and does not cover abuse, misuse, or unauthorized modifications. Contact Vaultek for service authorization and shipping instructions.
FCC Compliance
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: no harmful interference and acceptance of any received interference. Modifications could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. The device meets general RF exposure requirements; maintain a distance of 20cm from the body during use.
