Samsung Galaxy Trade-In Campaign Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") apply to the campaign.
Organizer
1. "Samsung Electronics Baltics" SIA, registration code 40003963909, located at Duntes 6, Riga, LV-1013, Latvia (hereinafter the "Organizer"), together with Samsung product resellers (hereinafter the "Sellers"), are conducting the Samsung Galaxy Trade-In Campaign (hereinafter the "Campaign") to introduce certain Samsung devices.
Campaign General Provisions
2. The Campaign runs from 09.07.2025 at 17:00 to 01.09.2025 at 23:59 (hereinafter the "Campaign Period").
3. The Campaign takes place in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania (hereinafter the "Campaign Location").
4. The Campaign is valid in Samsung resellers' physical stores and online stores:
- samsung.com/lv/atpirkums/
- samsung.com/lt/grazinimas/
- samsung.com/ee/tagasiost/
(hereinafter the "Store").
Participants
5. The Campaign is intended for individuals and legal entities who have purchased the products mentioned in clause 8 of these Terms.
6. Participants under 18 years of age may participate in the Campaign and receive prizes only with the consent of a parent.
7. A legal entity participating in the Campaign must be registered in the Campaign Location and have a registered bank account in the Campaign Location.
Campaign
8. Campaign Products are Samsung mobile devices listed in Appendix I of these Terms (hereinafter the "Campaign Products").
9. Upon purchasing Campaign Products, the buyer (hereinafter the "Participant") is entitled to participate in the Campaign in accordance with the Terms. The purchase must be made during the Campaign Period, in a Campaign Store, and the products must be advertised with a trade-in campaign. Products for which a trade-in offer is not advertised are not included in the Campaign.
10. The Campaign offer is valid only for those Campaign Products distributed by the Organizer and sold in the Campaign Stores. The Campaign does not apply to Samsung Products distributed by third parties. The buyer must ensure that the purchased products are available and suitable within the scope of the Campaign.
The buyer must carefully read the list of retailers provided in clause 4 of these Terms to avoid further misunderstandings.
11. The Campaign is valid only for new Campaign Products and does not apply to refurbished, resold, or previously used products, or products used as demo or display items, or for any other commercial purpose.
12. If a Participant has questions about the color, technical specifications, or other details of the Campaign Products, they should contact the Samsung information phone or a store representative mentioned in clause 42 of these Terms.
Trade-In
13. The trade-in within the scope of the Campaign takes place according to the restrictions specified in clause 14 of these Terms, provided the Participant purchases Campaign Products during the Campaign Period and chooses one of the following trade-in options:
- 13.1. At the Seller's physical store when purchasing Campaign Products.
- 13.2. In the Seller's online store in accordance with the terms of the specific online store.
- 13.3. By visiting the trade-in website, such as www.tagasiost.ee (Estonia), www.atpirkums.lv (Latvia), or www.senainauja.lt (Lithuania).
14. If the Participant exchanges their old device at a physical store when purchasing Campaign Products, the trade-in value will be applied as a discount to the purchase at the time of the transaction. If the price of the Campaign Products is lower than the trade-in value of the old device, the Organizer or the Store is not obliged to pay out the difference.
15. If the Participant does not present their old device for trade-in in accordance with these Terms, they are not entitled to the trade-in value or any additional benefits, if any.
16. If the Participant sells their old device back through an online store, they must familiarize themselves with the online store's terms. The Organizer is not responsible for the online store's terms, and in case of claims, one should contact the specific seller.
17. If the Participant chooses the trade-in option via a website (e.g., www.tagasiost.ee in Estonia), the trade-in will proceed as follows:
- 17.1. The trade-in value of the old device will be paid to the Participant (by bank transfer) after the old device is delivered to the partner.
- 17.2. The trade-in value will be determined by Foxway OÜ (registration code: 12703942, address: Killustiku Põik 1, Vahi 60534, Estonia; hereinafter the "Partner").
- 17.3. The Participant must provide the IMEI code or serial number of the purchased Campaign Products, purchase information, and the self-assessed value of the old device, and register on the website within 7 days of the purchase date of the Campaign Products.
17.4. The Client acknowledges that the self-assessed value of the device is illustrative and approximate and may change. The exact trade-in value will be determined by the Partner.
17.5. After self-assessing the device, the Client must hand over the old device to the designated parcel delivery service within 14 days of registering on the website. Delivery is free of charge. If the Client does not submit their old device to the Partner within the specified period, they will forfeit the right to a device refund.
17.6. The Participant must send only the registered device for trade-in. The Partner is not responsible for packaging, original boxes, or accessories that are included with the old device. All accessories will be destroyed immediately and will not be returned.
17.7. The trade-in price will be paid to the Participant after the Partner's assessment and confirmation. The refund will be made after the legal withdrawal period (14 days) has passed.
17.8. A refund will not be made if the Participant exercises their right of withdrawal for the purchase of Campaign Products. If the Participant has not made a final decision regarding the Campaign Products, they should not send the old device for trade-in to the Partner.
17.9. The trade-in is carried out by the Partner, not by Samsung or the Stores. If the Participant is not satisfied with the trade-in process, they must contact the Partner directly.
18. Before handing over the old device, the Participant must remove all associated accounts, such as Google account (for Android devices), Samsung account (for Samsung devices), iCloud (for iOS devices), and perform a factory reset on the device. It is recommended to create a backup to avoid losing valuable information.
19. Only one old device can be submitted for trade-in.
Assessment of Old Devices
20. It is assumed that the old device is in used condition. The device must be complete and assembled in its original manufacturer's form. The device and all its parts must be original – counterfeit devices or devices with parts replaced by third parties are not accepted.
21. To check if the old device is eligible for the Campaign, use the device assessment tool on the websites www.tagasiost.ee in Estonia, www.atpirkums.lv in Latvia, or www.senainauja.lt in Lithuania. If the old device model is found in the list of devices during the search, the device meets the Campaign conditions if it complies with the requirements of clause 18. If the model is not found, the device is not eligible for the Campaign.
22. The value of the old device depends on the device's condition, model, and market prices.
23. If the Participant participates in the Campaign via the web, the Partner will assess the old device and confirm the self-assessed value or adjust the device's value based on its actual condition.
24. The final price of the old device will be determined solely by the Partner, and the Sellers do not confirm the results of the assessment process. The Organizer is not responsible for the Partner's assessment decisions, so questions should be directed to the Partner.
25. If the Participant participates in the Campaign at a physical store, the Seller will assess the old device according to the Partner's instructions and apply the corresponding discount to the price of the Campaign Products.
26. By participating in the Campaign, the Participant acknowledges that the assessment of the old device is entirely dependent on the Partner.
Personal Data
27. The Organizer uses Participants' personal data solely for the purpose of conducting the trade-in campaign and for accounting purposes.
28. Providing personal data to participate in the Campaign is voluntary. However, if the Participant does not provide the required data, they will not receive the trade-in payment.
29. Participants' personal data is processed on the following legal grounds:
- Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (consent) (hereinafter - GDPR);
- Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR (fulfillment of legal obligations);
- Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest in advertising Samsung's brand and products).
30. If personal data is processed based on consent, Participants have the right to withdraw their consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
31. Personal data is shared only with the Organizer's third-party service providers and/or group companies that provide services to the Organizer, such as campaign organization and management. These third parties will have access to personal data only to provide services or conduct the Campaign.
32. Personal data is retained only as long as it is necessary for the execution of the Campaign. If legal proceedings are initiated, the data will be retained until the proceedings are concluded. If the law requires mandatory data retention, the Organizer will comply with the relevant regulations.
33. The Organizer acts as a joint data controller with the Store and the Partner. Participants may submit requests or complaints related to the processing of their data to the European Data Protection Officer via the GDPR support page, the link to which can be found in the privacy policy (https://www.samsung.com/ee/). Complaints related to the processing of personal data can also be submitted to the Data Protection Inspectorate.
General Provisions
34. The Campaign is intended only for retail customers and does not apply to products purchased for resale.
35. The Seller's general sales and delivery terms and conditions apply, unless otherwise specified by the Seller or these Terms.
36. A Participant forfeits the right to a discount or benefit if it is found that they have violated the Terms or unfairly influenced the course of the Campaign.
37. Sellers reserve the right to change the Terms or terminate the Campaign without prior notice, if the changes are justified and comply with legal requirements.
38. Sellers are not responsible for the suspension of the Campaign due to force majeure, international and national sanctions, or other uncontrollable circumstances.
39. The Client agrees that the Sellers are not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses related to the Campaign, provided it is in accordance with local laws.
40. If the Client complies with the Campaign Terms, but the Partner refuses to pay the trade-in value of the old device, the Client must contact the Partner directly. Stores and/or SIA Samsung Electronics Baltics are not responsible for restrictions or changes made by the Partner in connection with the Campaign.
41. The laws of the Republic of Latvia govern the organization of the Campaign. All disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Republic of Latvia.

For clarity, the models included in the campaign are limited. If the old device cannot be found according to clause 21 of these Terms, it is not eligible for the Campaign.
