Samsung Galaxy "Trade-in" Promotion: Terms and Conditions
This document outlines the terms and conditions for the Samsung Galaxy "Trade-in" promotion organized by Samsung Electronics Baltics SIA.
Organizer
Samsung Electronics Baltics SIA, registered under No. 40003963909, located at Duntes g. 6, Riga, LV-1013, Latvia (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer"), in cooperation with Samsung product retailers (hereinafter referred to as "Retailers"), is organizing the Samsung Galaxy "Trade-in" promotion (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotion") to encourage the sale of certain Samsung devices.
General Promotion Conditions
- The Promotion is valid from 2025/07/09 17:00 until 2025/09/01 23:59 (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotion Period").
- The Promotion is valid in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotion Territory").
- The Promotion is valid in the online and offline stores of the Retailers, listed at:

Participants
- The Promotion is intended for individuals and legal entities who purchase the products specified in point 8 of these Terms and Conditions.
- Participants under 18 years of age may participate in the Promotion and receive prizes only with parental consent.
- A legal entity participating in the Promotion must be registered in the Promotion Territory and have a bank account registered in the Promotion Territory.
Promotion Details
- The Promotion products are Samsung smart devices listed in Appendix I of these terms (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotion Product").
- By purchasing a Promotion Product, the buyer (hereinafter the "Participant") is entitled to participate in the Organizer's Promotion according to these Terms. The purchase must take place during the Promotion Period, in the Store, and the products must be advertised with the Trade-in offer. Products not advertised with a "Trade-in" offer in the Store are not valid for this Promotion.
- The Promotion offer is valid only for those Promotion Products distributed and sold by the Organizer in the Stores. This Promotion does not apply to Samsung products distributed by other third parties. The buyer must ensure that the selected products are available for the Promotion when purchasing and that the Promotion can be applied to them in the Store. The buyer must carefully review these Terms and the list of Retailers specified in point 4 of these Terms to avoid any misunderstandings.
- This Promotion applies only to new Promotion Products and is not valid for refurbished, resold, or previously used products, or products used as demonstration or exhibition models, or otherwise used for commercial purposes.
- If the Participant has questions regarding the color, technical specifications, or other details of the relevant Promotion Products, they should contact the Samsung call center mentioned in point 42 of these Terms or contact the store representatives directly.
"Trade-in"
- "Trade-in" means that the Participant will be compensated for their old electronic device (hereinafter the "Old Device"), taking into account the list of product restrictions provided in point 14 of these Terms, if the Participant purchases a Promotion Product during the Promotion Period and chooses one of the following methods for exchanging the Old Device:
- When purchasing a Promotion Product at a physical Retailer store;
- In the Retailer's online store, subject to the terms of the specific online store;
- By visiting a trading platform, e.g., www.tagasiost.ee in Estonia, www.atpirkums.lv in Latvia, or www.senainauja.lt in Lithuania.
- If the Participant chooses to exchange their old device at a physical Retailer store when purchasing a Promotion Product, the trade-in value will be provided as a discount. This discount is applied when the Participant purchases the Promotion Product and hands over their old device to the store at the time of purchase. If the price of the chosen Promotion Product is lower than the trade-in value of the Old Device, the Organizer and the Retailer are not obliged to pay the difference, nor is the Partner.
- If the Participant does not trade in their Old Device according to the terms of this agreement, the Participant will not be entitled to "Trade-in" or any additional "Trade-in" benefits, if any.
- If the Participant chooses to exchange their Old Device in a Retailer's online store according to the terms of the specific online store, the Participant should carefully familiarize themselves with the terms of the specific online store. The Organizer is not responsible for the terms of other Retailers, so if there are any claims, the Participant should contact the specific Retailer.
- If the Participant chooses to exchange their old device by visiting "Trade-in" at www.tagasiost.ee in Estonia, www.atpirkums.lv in Latvia, or www.senainauja.lt in Lithuania, the Participant is entitled to participate in the Promotion described below:
- The Participant will be paid the corresponding "Trade-in" amount (by bank transfer) after the Participant sends their old device to the Partner.
- For the "Trade-in", the purchase value of the customer's Old Device is determined by "Foxway OU", registration number: 12703942, address: Killustiku Põik 1, Vahi 60534, Estonia (hereinafter referred to as the "Partner").
- The Participant must provide the IMEI code or serial number of the purchased Promotion Product (only for products without a SIM card), information about the purchase, and independently assess the trade-in value of their Old Device and complete the registration on the website within 7 days of purchasing the Promotion Product.
- The client acknowledges that this estimated value is illustrative and approximate and may change. The exact "Trade-in" value will be determined by the Partner.
- After completing the assessment, the client must hand over their Old Device to the designated courier service within 14 days of the registration date on the website for delivery to the Partner. Delivery is free of charge. If the client does not hand over their old device to the Partner for trade-in within the specified period, the client is not entitled to compensation.
- The Participant should only send the "Trade-in" registered device. The Partner is not liable for packaging, original boxes, or accessories sent with the Old Device. All packaging, original boxes, or accessories sent with the Old Device will not be returned and will be immediately destroyed.
- After the Partner performs the assessment, the Participant will be refunded the Partner's confirmed or updated assessment value. The refund will be made after the statutory period for withdrawal from the contract (14 days) has expired.
- The Participant will not receive any compensation if they exercise their right to withdraw from the purchase of the Promotion Products acquired during this Promotion, as provided by law. If the Participant has not made a final decision regarding the Promotion Products, they should not send their old device to the Partner for exchange.
- The trade-in transaction is carried out by the Partner, not by Samsung or the Retailers. If the Participant is not satisfied with the "Trade-in" process, they should contact the Partner directly.
- Before handing over the old device, the Participant must remove all associated customer accounts from the old device, including, but not limited to, Google accounts (for all Android devices), Samsung accounts (for Samsung devices), iCloud (for iOS devices), and completely reset the old device to factory settings. The Participant is recommended to create a backup to avoid losing valuable information.
- The "Trade-in" Promotion can only be used with one old device.
Old Device Assessment
- It is expected that the old device submitted by the Participant for "Trade-in" meets all conditions. The old device must not be disassembled or otherwise taken apart; it must be presented as originally assembled by the manufacturer. The old device and all its parts must be original. Counterfeit old devices or old devices with third-party replacement parts are not accepted.
- To verify if your old device is eligible for the Promotion, use the device assessment tool available at www.atpirkums.lv in Latvia, www.senainauja.lt in Lithuania, www.tagasiost.ee in Estonia. If the Old Device model is found in the search, the Old Device is considered eligible for the Promotion, provided it meets the requirements set out in point 18 of these Terms. If the "Old" device model is not found using the search tool, the device is not eligible for the Promotion.
- The value of the old device depends on the device's condition, model, and market fluctuations.
- If the Participant participates in this Promotion online, the Partner will assess the Old Device and confirm the value created during the client's assessment or update it based on the actual condition of the device.
- The final assessment value of the old device is determined solely by the Partner. Retailers do not guarantee any assessment result under any circumstances. The Organizer is not responsible for the Partner's assessments, so if the Participant has questions about the assessment procedures, they should contact the Partner directly.
- If the Participant participates in this Promotion offline, Retailer employees will assess the old device strictly following the Partner's instructions and apply the discount accordingly to the price of the Promotion Product.
- By participating in the Promotion, the Participant must confirm that the assessment of the Old Device is entirely dependent on the Partner.
Personal Data
- The Organizer will use the Participant's personal data for the execution of the "Trade-in" promotion and for compliance with accounting laws.
- The decision to provide personal data to participate in the Promotion is voluntary. However, if the Participant does not provide the required information, they will not be eligible for the reward.
- Participant's personal data is processed based on the following legal grounds: Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (consent) (hereinafter referred to as "GDPR"); GDPR Article 6(1)(c) (fulfillment of legal obligations); GDPR Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest to promote the Samsung brand and products).
- If the Participant's personal data is processed based on their consent, they have the right to withdraw their consent at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal.
- Personal data will be shared only with third-party service providers and/or companies within the Organizer's group that provide services to the Organizer, such as campaign organization, supervision, and similar services. These third parties will have access to personal data to provide services to the Organizer and/or execute this Promotion.
- Participant's personal data will be stored only for as long as necessary to execute the Promotion. If legal action is initiated, personal data may be stored until the completion of such action. If regulatory legal acts require mandatory storage of personal data, the Organizer will comply with the relevant regulations.
- The Organizer acts as a joint data controller together with the Retailer and the Partner. To request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing of Participant's personal data, to object to the processing of Participant's personal data, to exercise the right to data portability, or to raise any other concerns regarding the processing of their personal data, Participants can submit a request to the European Data Protection Officer via the Data Protection Regulation support page, the link to which can be found in the privacy policy published at http://www.samsung.com/lv/ (in Latvian), https://www.samsung.com/lt/ (in Lithuanian), https://www.samsung.com/ee/ (in Estonian). Participants may also lodge a complaint regarding the processing of their personal data with the data protection supervisory authority.
General Terms
- The Promotion is intended exclusively for the end consumer and is not related to products purchased for resale.
- The general terms and conditions of sale and delivery of the store apply, unless otherwise expressly provided by the Retailer or these Terms.
- The Participant is not entitled to a refund, discount, or any other benefit if it is determined that the client has violated these Terms or has unfairly influenced the course of this or any other Organizer's Promotion.
- Retailers reserve the right to change or terminate these Terms at any time without prior notice, provided that the changes are made reasonably and in accordance with applicable legal regulations.
- Retailers are not responsible for the suspension of the Promotion due to force majeure circumstances, international and national sanctions, or other circumstances beyond the Retailers' control.
- The client agrees that Retailers are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages related to the Promotion, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The number of eligible old device models is limited. If the old device cannot be found according to point 21 of these terms, it is not eligible for the Promotion.
Complaints and Contact
- If the client has fulfilled the Promotion conditions, but the Partner refuses to pay the trade-in value for the Old Device, the client should file a claim with the Partner. Retailers and/or Samsung Electronics Baltics SIA are not responsible for the limitations or changes applied by the Partner related to the Promotion.
- The execution of the Promotion is governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any disputes related to the Promotion shall be settled in the courts of the Republic of Latvia.
