This document provides step-by-step assembly instructions for the IKEA ÅLHULT extendable table. Please read all instructions before beginning assembly.

Assembly Steps

Step 1

Lay out the main frame components on a flat surface. Align the pre-drilled holes as indicated. (Visual description: Page 5 shows the base frame components laid out on a surface, with hands pointing to connection points.)

Step 2

Step 3

Step 4

Step 5

Step 6

Step 7

Step 8

Step 9

Step 10

Step 11

Prepare the tabletop sections. Attach brackets using 2x screws (109567) for each section. A crossed-out diagram indicates an incorrect orientation for the brackets. Step 12

Step 13

Step 14

Step 15

Step 16

Attach the legs. Insert connectors (110912) into the leg pieces. Then, secure the legs to the table body using 2x bolts (100033) and washers for each leg. Step 17

Attach the metal brackets to the top of the legs. Use 4x nuts (100712) and 4x washers (100843) for this step. The assembly tool (120202) may be used. Step 18

Step 19

Step 20

Carefully lift the assembled frame and place it onto the tabletop. Engage the extension leaf locking mechanisms by turning them. Step 21
