ÅLHULT Table Assembly Instructions

This document provides step-by-step instructions for assembling the IKEA ÅLHULT table. Please ensure you have all parts and hardware before beginning.

The main components are typically the table frame pieces and legs, which are assembled using the hardware listed above.

Assembly Steps

Step 1: Prepare Frame Pieces

Lay two long frame pieces flat on a protected surface (e.g., a rug) to prevent scratching. Insert two wooden dowels (101350) into the pre-drilled holes on one of the frame pieces. Ensure they are firmly seated.

Step 2: Attach Brackets

Attach the metal brackets (120171) to the ends of the frame pieces. Use four screws (109067) for each bracket, securing them through the bracket holes into the frame. A close-up view shows the correct placement and tightening of these screws.

Step 3: Assemble Frame

Connect the frame pieces together. Arrows indicate the direction of assembly and tightening. Ensure all parts align correctly before securing with screws (109067). Two small diagrams illustrate correct alignment (hole visible) and incorrect alignment (hole obscured, marked with a cross ❌).

Step 4: Secure Frame to Base

Place the assembled frame onto a flat base panel. Insert ten screws (112628) from underneath, through the base panel and into the frame, to secure the structure. Two additional screws are shown being inserted at specific points.

Step 5: Prepare Legs

Take the four leg pieces. Insert a cylindrical connector (110912) into the top of each leg. Then, insert two long bolts (100033) through the connector and into the leg piece. Ensure the bolts are properly seated.

Step 6: Attach Legs to Frame

Turn the frame upside down. Attach the prepared legs to the corners of the frame. Use nuts (100712) and washers (100843) to secure the bolts (100033) extending from the leg connectors to the frame. The tool (120202) is used for tightening. This step requires four sets of hardware.

Step 7: Attach Leg Caps

Turn the table upright. Place a circular disc (117559) onto the top of each leg. Press down firmly to secure the disc. This step is performed for all four legs.

Important Information

Tools Required: Screwdrivers (flat head ? and cross head ?). The included tool (120202) may also be used.

Assembly Tips:

Assemble on a soft surface like a rug to avoid damaging the floor or product parts.
Do not use power tools unless specifically indicated, as they can overtighten screws and damage components.
