- The kettle is intended for heating a maximum of 1.7 liters of water. Exceeding this may cause hot water to splash out.
- WARNING: Do not open the lid when the water is boiling or very hot.
- WARNING: Position the lid so steam escapes away from the handle.

- Prevent pets, plants, or insects from contacting the appliance during operation.
- Do not plug in or unplug the power cord with wet hands or by pulling the cord.
- Use the kettle only with its designed stand.
- Prevent injuries from hot water or steam.
- The appliance has a heat safety lock that disconnects power if the steam sensor fails, water boils away, or an empty kettle is turned on. If this occurs, unplug and let it cool. Do not cool rapidly with cold water, as it may reduce the heating element's lifespan.
- Use the appliance only for its intended purpose as described in this manual.

Instructions for Use
Initial Use:
Before the first use, fill the kettle with clean water to the maximum level, turn it on, and let it boil. Pour out the water and repeat this process at least five times to clean the appliance and remove any potential plastic taste.
Operation:
- Unwind the power cord (B2) from the stand (B) to the required length.
- Plug the power cord into an electrical socket.
- Hold the kettle (A) by the handle (A4).
- Open the lid (A5) and fill the kettle with drinking water. The minimum and maximum water levels are marked on the water gauge (A3).
- Close the lid securely.
- Place the filled kettle on the stand (B).
- Turn the switch (A1) to position 'I' to start heating. The control light (A2) will illuminate.
- The appliance will automatically switch off when the water boils.
- You can switch off the kettle manually by turning the switch (A1) to position '0' before it reaches boiling point.
Attention Points:
- The lid must be closed for the automatic shut-off function to work.
- Tilting the kettle backwards, especially when full, may cause water to leak from the bottom. This is not a safety issue or malfunction. However, tilting with hot water poses a scalding risk, so avoid tilting.
- When the kettle is not in use, do not leave it on the connected stand.
- If the kettle is removed from the stand during boiling, it remains in the ON state and will resume heating immediately upon being placed back on the stand.
Maintenance
⚠️ Before any maintenance, unplug the appliance from the power supply and allow it to cool down completely.
Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents (e.g., sharp objects, scrapers, solvents). The stainless steel casing and heating base may accumulate water impurities (limescale), especially above the heating element. This is normal and not a defect.
Cleaning the Kettle:
To remove limescale, use an ETA-AKTIV descaler or the following method:
- Add approximately 50g of citric acid to the kettle.
- Fill the kettle halfway with water and mix.
- After dissolving, fill to 3/4 of the maximum water level.
- Place the kettle on the stand and switch it on.
- Before boiling, turn off the kettle, let the solution work for about 10 minutes, then pour it out.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Repeat if heavily soiled.
- Clean the kettle regularly.
Cleaning the Sieve (A6):
Remove the sieve from the kettle. Clean it under running water with a soft brush to remove any deposits. Reinsert the sieve in the reverse order.
Extensive maintenance or repairs requiring access to internal parts must be performed by authorized service personnel. Failure to follow manufacturer's instructions voids the warranty.
