About the Product
ETA titanium cookware is manufactured using advanced techniques like gravitational or pressure casting from a compound of aluminum, silicon, and magnesium, ensuring optimal and even heat distribution across the entire vessel. The pans feature a three-layer anti-adhesive system with double inner reinforcement, incorporating titanium ceramic particles for enhanced hardness and abrasion resistance, protecting the pan's surface. The bottoms are precision-machined with diamond tools at high speeds for superior heat transfer. Glass lids offer high shock resistance. Handles on the cookware and lids are made of plastic, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 260°C (or 130°C for ETA 6915 models).
Before First Use
For optimal quality and performance, follow these recommendations:
- Remove all packaging materials, including any adhesive foil or labels.
- Wash all parts that come into contact with food in hot water with detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry completely, or allow to air dry.
- Attach the handle to the glass lid as shown in the diagram.
[Diagram: Shows a glass lid, a plastic knob, a screw, and a washer. Arrows indicate the screw passing through the lid, then a washer, and screwing into the knob. Symbols indicate correct/incorrect assembly.] - Lightly wipe the inner surface with a napkin, spread a small amount of fat or oil, heat gently for 3-5 minutes, and wipe again after heating.
- Before each use, thoroughly preheat the cookware for approximately 5-7 minutes to a temperature of 170-180°C.
- To check the temperature, spray a few drops of water into the dish. If the water splatters, beads, and evaporates quickly, the dish is at the correct temperature.
- Add ingredients only when the dish is at the proper temperature.
- Caution: Do not touch the cookware while in use, except for the plastic handles, as it will be HOT!
- If using the cookware in an oven (electric/gas/convection), always use protective gloves.
- Exercise extreme caution to prevent children and persons with limited capabilities from touching the cookware.
Usage
This cookware is suitable for all heat sources: gas, electricity, and ceramic hobs.
- For gas stoves, using a cast iron flame diffuser plate is recommended for easier maintenance of the silver bottom.
- After preheating the cookware to the correct temperature (170-180°C for 5-7 minutes, confirmed by the water test), place food (e.g., meat) in the dish. Sear the food briefly, then continue cooking at medium or lower heat.
- You do not need to learn new cooking techniques; simply focus on controlling the heat source.
- Avoid unnecessary overheating to save energy and money.
- A key advantage is that the cookware does not absorb odors, allowing you to cook, fry, and bake various dishes in the same piece.
- Do not drag the cookware across ceramic or induction hobs to prevent damage to the hob surface (e.g., abrasion of decorative elements, scratches, or dark spots).
Maintenance
After cooking non-fatty meals, simply wipe the cookware with a paper towel.
General cleaning options:
- Pour cold water into the heated dish. Food residues will loosen and can be washed away. Empty the contents (this is known as "heat shock") – RECOMMENDED.
- Allow the dish to cool slightly, then wipe with a paper towel.
- Regularly rinse the cookware with liquid dishwashing detergent to prevent the buildup of fat and baking residues.
Dishwasher use is not recommended.
Warnings and Precautions
- Use only wooden, plastic, or metal kitchen utensils with rounded edges.
- Never overheat empty pans unnecessarily, as this can damage the upper PTFE layer.
- The cookware's non-stick surface requires no excessive force during cooking.
- Do not use sharp metal objects (knives, forks) or abrasive/harsh cleaning agents (e.g., oven cleaners) on the surface.
- Avoid dropping lids or careless handling that could cause dents or scratches. While these marks do not affect cooking quality or lifespan, they can impact the aesthetic appearance.
- Surface damage (burning) due to excessively high heat settings is not covered.
- Damage to the bottom due to high heat (e.g., from a gas burner without a flame diffuser) is not covered.
Ecology and Disposal
Materials used for packaging, components, and accessories are marked for recycling where size permits. Dispose of the product responsibly at designated collection points to conserve natural resources and prevent environmental impact. Improper disposal may result in fines.

This product complies with European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 regarding materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.
