Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps carefully to assemble your GRÖNFJÄLL office chair.
Step 1: Attach Castors
Description: Insert the five castors into the sockets at the end of each leg of the five-star chair base. An exploded view shows a castor being pushed downwards into a socket. A warning icon [information] is displayed. A prohibition symbol [prohibited action] indicates an incorrect method of attachment.

Step 2: Prepare Gas Lift
Description: Remove the cap from the top of the gas lift cylinder. The cap is shown being placed into a recycling bin [recycling symbol].

Step 3: Insert Gas Lift
Description: Insert the gas lift cylinder into the central opening of the assembled chair base.

Step 4: Attach Mechanism to Seat
Description: Position the chair mechanism (Part 121030) on the underside of the seat. Use four screws (Parts 152546, 152545) to attach the mechanism. The hex key (Part 124345) is used to tighten the screws. A different type of screw (Parts 122900, 159026) is shown with a prohibition symbol [prohibited action], indicating it should not be used for this step.

Step 5: Secure Mechanism
Description: Ensure the mechanism is securely attached to the seat. The word "Click!" is indicated at multiple points, signifying a secure connection.
Step 6: Attach Backrest Support
Description: Place the seat assembly on a table. Attach a component, likely the backrest support, to the rear of the seat using four screws (Parts 122900, 159026) and the hex key (Part 124345).

Step 7: Attach Armrests
Description: Attach the armrests to the sides of the seat assembly by inserting them into the designated slots.

Step 8: Attach Gas Lift Cylinder to Mechanism
Description: Attach the gas lift cylinder to the mechanism on the underside of the seat using two screws (Parts 10113580, 10113616) and the hex key.

Step 9: Connect Seat to Base
Description: Place the assembled seat onto the gas lift cylinder. A downward arrow indicates the action.
Step 10: Adjust Chair Features
Description: A seated figure demonstrates how to adjust the chair's height (downward arrow on seat) and tilt/rocking motion (rocking arrows).

Maintenance and Replacement

Replacing Seat Cushions
Description: The process involves lifting the seat cushion off the chair base and removing the seat cushion cover.
