Cardo Spirit HD: Getting Started

Cardo Connect App

Download the Cardo Connect app from the App Store or Google Play to manage your device, update software, and access advanced features.

Key App Functions:

• Register your device.
• Choose your preferred language.
• Perform software updates.
• Manage audio settings.

Basic Operations

The Spirit HD utilizes simple button presses and holds for various functions. LED indicators provide feedback on device status.

Volume Control

• Volume Up: Press and hold the Volume Up button.
• Volume Down: Press and hold the Volume Down button.

Power

• On: Press and hold the Power button.
• Off: Press and hold the Power button.

Pairing Devices

Phone Pairing

To pair your phone, follow these steps:

1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
2. On the Spirit HD, initiate phone pairing mode (indicated by flashing red and blue LEDs).
3. Select 'Cardo Spirit HD' from your phone's Bluetooth menu.
4. Confirm pairing if prompted.

Intercom Pairing

To pair with another rider:

1. Ensure both units are in pairing mode (flashing red and blue LEDs).
2. Select the other rider's unit from your Bluetooth menu.
3. Once paired, the LEDs will flash blue.

Audio Features

Music Playback

• Play: Single tap the Media button.
• Pause: Single tap the Media button.
• Next Track: Double tap the Media button.
• Previous Track: Triple tap the Media button.

Radio

• Start Scan: Tap the Radio button three times.
• Stop Scan: Tap the Radio button twice.
• Set Presets: Use the app to set favorite radio stations.

Voice Assistant

Activate Siri or Google Assistant with a single tap on the designated button.

Calls

• Answer Call: Single tap the Phone button.
• End Call: Single tap the Phone button.
• Ignore Call: Single tap the Phone button.
• Speed Dial: Set speed dial numbers in the Cardo Connect app and activate with a double tap on the Phone button.

Intercom Functions

• Call/End Intercom: Use the designated button to initiate or end an intercom call with a paired rider.
• Share Music: Use the Cardo Connect app to share music with your riding companion.
• Share Phone Call: Use the Cardo Connect app to share your phone call with your riding companion.

LED Indicators

Refer to the LED indicator guide for status information:

• Red & Blue Flashing: Pairing mode.
• Blue Flashing: Connected.
• Red Flashing: Low battery.
