This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the Cardo Spirit and Spirit HD communication systems on various motorcycle helmets.

Note: A Half helmet kit is sold separately.
Installation Procedure
Step 1: Prepare Helmet Interior
Remove the helmet padding to access the interior space.
Step 2: Install Speakers
Place the speakers (E) inside the helmet, ensuring they are positioned to align with your ears. If necessary, use the booster pads (B) to bring the speakers closer to your ears. Secure the speakers using the Velcro pads (A).
Step 3: Install Microphone
Position the microphone (F) inside the helmet. Ensure the directional arrow on the microphone points towards your mouth. Secure the microphone using the Velcro pads (A).
Step 4: Mount the Communication Unit
Option 1: Narrow Rim Helmet Installation
For helmets with a rim width less than 5mm:
Push the mounting clamp (C) into place on the helmet rim.
Option 2: Wide Rim Helmet Installation
For helmets with a rim width greater than 5mm:
Clean the helmet surface with the provided Alcohol Pad (I).
Attach the mounting bracket components (G and H) to the helmet using their adhesive backing.
Push the mounting clamp (C) into place.
Diagrams on page 1 illustrate the clamp mechanism for both narrow and wide rim installations.
Step 5: Secure Cables
Connect the speakers and microphone cables to the main communication unit.
Use the cable clip (J) to manage any excess wiring neatly.
Step 6: Finalize Installation
Return the helmet padding that was removed in Step 1.
The installation is now complete. The system is ready for use.
