Cardo Spirit: Getting Started

Basic Operations

This guide outlines the basic operations for your Cardo Spirit device. Refer to the sections below for detailed instructions.

Power On/Off

To turn the device on or off, press and hold the power button. The LED indicator will show the status.

Volume Control

Use the volume up and volume down buttons to adjust the audio volume. The number of taps will determine the volume level.

Phone Pairing

To pair your phone, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and follow the on-screen prompts. The LED will turn red and blue during the pairing process.

Call Handling

Answer Call: Tap the power button once to answer an incoming call.

End Call: Press and hold the power button to end an ongoing call.

Speed Dial: Tap the power button twice to call a speed dial number. You can set the number using the Cardo Connect app.

Voice Assistant

Press and hold the power button to activate your phone's voice assistant (e.g., Google Assistant, Siri).

Cardo Connect App

The Cardo Connect app allows you to manage your device settings, update software, and access additional features. Download the app from the App Store or Google Play.

Register your device
Manage phone pairing
Select language
Adjust audio settings
Perform software updates
Control riding modes

Music and Intercom

Music Playback

Play/Pause: Tap the power button once to play or pause music.

Intercom Pairing

Pair to Rider A: Follow the on-screen prompts in the app or device to pair with another rider. The LED will turn red during pairing.

Call/End Intercom: Use the designated buttons or app functions to initiate or end an intercom call.

Share Music

You can share music with another rider. Refer to the app for specific instructions on how to initiate music sharing.

Software Updates

Keep your Cardo Spirit up-to-date with the latest software. Visit cardosystems.com/update for instructions on performing Over-The-Air (OTA) updates via the Cardo Connect app.
