Cardo Spirit HD Pocket Guide

Device Overview

The Cardo Spirit HD features several control points:

• Media: Controls audio playback.
• Volume Up: Increases volume.
• Volume Down: Decreases volume.
• Mobile / Intercom: Manages phone calls and intercom connections.
• LED Indicator: Provides status information with different colors (Blue, Red, Green).

Basic Operations:

• Number of Taps: Refers to single (x1) or multiple (x2, x3) presses of the control button.
• Press & Hold: Pressing and holding the button for a specified duration (e.g., 2 Sec, 5 Sec).

Getting Started

1. On / Off

   Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to turn the device on or off.

2. Phone Pairing

   Press and hold the button for 5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes Red and Blue. Select 'SPIRIT HD' from your phone's Bluetooth menu.

Cardo Connect App

1. Download

   Download the Cardo Connect app from the App Store or Google Play.

2. Register

   Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account or sign in.

3. Choose Language

   Select your preferred language within the app settings.

4. Software Update

   Connect your Spirit HD unit to the app to check for and install software updates.

General Operations

• Volume Up

  Tap the button once (x1 Tap).

• Volume Down

  Tap the button once (x1 Tap).

• Mute

  Press and hold the button for 2 seconds.

• Voice Assistant

  Tap the button once (x1 Tap) to activate Siri or Google Assistant.

Phone Call

• Answer

  Tap the button once (x1 Tap) to answer an incoming call.

• Ignore

  Tap the button once (x1 Tap) to ignore an incoming call.

• End Call

  Tap the button once (x1 Tap) to end an active call.

• Speed Dial

  Set Number: Use the Cardo Connect app to set speed dial numbers.

  Call Speed Dial: Tap the button twice (x2 Tap) to initiate a speed dial call.

Radio

• Set Presets

  Use the Cardo Connect app to save your favorite radio stations.

• Start Scan

  Tap the button three times (x3 Tap) to begin scanning for radio stations.

• Stop Scan

  Tap the button once (x1 Tap) to stop scanning.

• On / Off

  Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to turn the radio on or off.

• Next

  Tap the button once (x1 Tap) to go to the next station.

• Previous

  Tap the button twice (x2 Tap) to go to the previous station.

Music

• Play

  Tap the button once (x1 Tap) to play music.

• Pause

  Tap the button once (x1 Tap) to pause music.

• Next

  Tap the button once (x1 Tap) to play the next track.

• Previous

  Tap the button twice (x2 Tap) to play the previous track.

Bluetooth Intercom

• Pairing

  Pair to Rider A: Press and hold the button for 5 seconds. The LED will turn Red. This initiates pairing with another Cardo device.

• Call / End Intercom

  Rider A: Tap the button twice (x2 Tap) to initiate or end an intercom call with Rider A.

• Share

  • Share Music: Tap the button once (x1 Tap) to share music with another rider.
  • Share Phone Call: Tap the button once (x1 Tap) to share a phone call with another rider.

GPS Pairing

1. Step 1

   Press and hold the button for 5 seconds. The LED indicator will flash Red and Blue.

2. Step 2

   Tap the button once (x1 Tap). The LED indicator will flash Red and Green.

3. Step 3

   Follow the on-screen instructions on your GPS device to complete the pairing process.
