Product Kits and Accessories
The following kits and accessories are typically supplied:
- Kit NS1: Includes hose, wand, floor tool, crevice tool, brush.
- Kit AS29E: Includes hose, wand, floor tool, crevice tool, brush.
- EVR 370 - Kit AS0: Includes hose, wand, floor tool, crevice tool, brush.
Assembly
Follow these steps for assembly:
- Connect the hose to the machine inlet.
- Attach the wand sections together.
- Connect the floor tool or accessory to the wand.
- Adjust wand length if necessary (approx. 50mm adjustment shown).
- Insert the dust bag and filter correctly.
- Secure the lid or head of the machine.
Using Your Machine
Operation:
- Locate the 'Start' button and ensure the 'Power On Indicator Light' is visible.
- Adjust the power/speed using the control dial, typically offering 'Low' and 'High' settings.
- Use the floor tool on appropriate surfaces (e.g., carpet, hard floors) by moving the machine forward and backward.
Cleaning
Main Unit Cleaning:
- Release the lid latches [arrow pointing outwards].
- Lift and remove the lid.
- Empty the dust bag and clean the filter.
- Dispose of the dust bag correctly.
- Clean the interior of the machine.
- Reassemble the machine, ensuring the lid is securely fastened.
EVR 370-11 Only: Cleaning the Tool Head
- Disassemble the tool head components.
- Clean individual parts, removing any debris.
- Reassemble the tool head.
Fitting and Removing the Face
Fitting the Face: Align and push the faceplate into position until it clicks securely.
Removing the Face: Gently pull the faceplate away from the machine body.
Wand Docking / Tool Tidy
The machine is designed with features to dock the wand and store accessories when not in use.
470 Handle Fitting
Instructions for attaching the handle to the 470 model are illustrated.

Maintenance
Daily: Keep the machine clean, including hoses and tubes. Ensure the bag and filter are fitted. Regularly examine the power cord. Check dust bag frequently. Check filters are clean.
Weekly: Perform daily checks and also check for any worn or damaged parts and replace immediately.
WEEE Legislation (Waste, Electrical and Electronic Equipment)
Vacuum cleaner, accessories, and packaging should be sorted for environmentally friendly recycling.
(Only for UK/EU Countries) Do not dispose of vacuum cleaner into household waste. According to the European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment, vacuum cleaners that are no longer suitable for use must be separately collected and sent for recovery in an environmentally friendly manner.

Information for DRY Use Vacuum Cleaners
WARNING
- Read the instruction manual before using the machine.
- Operators shall be adequately instructed on the use of their machine.
- Exercise care and attention during use and ensure routine and preventative maintenance is carried out periodically for safe operation.
- Failure to carry out necessary maintenance, including part replacement to the correct standard, could render the equipment unsafe.
- Maintenance should only be carried out by a qualified person.
- This machine is for DRY USE only and must not be stored outside or used in wet conditions.
- Disconnect from mains power by removing the plug during cleaning or maintenance.
- Only use the socket outlet on the machine for specified purposes (if fitted).
- This machine is not to be used by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge.
- This appliance is intended to be cleaned and maintained by an adult.
- Children being supervised are not to play with the machine.
- This machine is not a toy.
- This machine is not suitable for picking up hazardous or explosive dust. Contact your local distributor for machines capable of such tasks.

- Ensure the filtration system is suitable for the material being collected.
- This vacuum cleaner is intended for indoor use for the collection of dry materials.
- This machine should be stored indoors only.
NOTES
- Primary use is commercial (hotels, schools, hospitals, factories, shops, offices).
- Complies with IEC/EN 60335-2-69 Stability and Mechanical Hazards.
- Fitted with a thermal protection device. If the machine stops, remove the plug before investigating.
- If a blockage occurs: switch off, remove plug, inspect floor tool, tubes, and hose. If clear, replace dust bag and clean filter.
- Inspect the vacuum cleaner after use for damage.
- Store the vacuum cleaner in a dry place.
- Consider the machine's weight when moving it.
DO
- Keep your machine clean, including hoses and tubes.
- Change dust bag frequently.
- Keep filters clean.
- Keep diffuser filter (where fitted) clean.
- Use filter bags for enhanced performance and cleanliness.
- Use a Numatic Original filter bag under fine dust conditions.
- Keep hoses and tubes clear.
- Replace any worn or damaged parts immediately.
- Only use the brushes provided with the machine.
- Regularly examine the power cord for damage (cracking, ageing) and replace if necessary by a qualified person.
- Only replace the power cord with the correct Numatic approved part.
DO NOT
- Pull on the cable to unplug the machine.
- Use to suck up hot ashes or lighted cigarette ends.
- Use steam cleaners or pressure washers to clean the machine or use in the rain.
- Immerse in water for cleaning.
- Attempt machine maintenance or cleaning unless the power supply plug has been removed.
- Use in wet environments or to collect wet materials.
- Place foreign objects (e.g., air fresheners, capsules, scented beads) into the top filter, as this can be dangerous and damage the machine, potentially invalidating the warranty.

Note: Warranty excludes consumable parts like carbon brushes, floor brushes, mops, batteries. Using non-Numatic dustbags may affect performance and warranty.
Warranty claims must be processed through the dealer. Contact Numatic International Limited for assistance if the original dealer cannot fulfil obligations.
Claims are limited to the specific faulty part and do not extend to the complete machine.
Claims will not be accepted for fair wear and tear, misuse, or abuse.
