Device Overview

The device is a wax heater designed for melting and maintaining wax at a set temperature. It features a digital display, control buttons, and indicator lights.

Operating the Device

Powering On/Off:

Press the power button. The display will show "90" and blink, indicating it's ready for temperature adjustment. If no adjustment is made, the current device temperature will be displayed.

Manual Mode:

The device operates in manual mode upon startup. The default temperature is 90°C. Use the temperature increase and decrease buttons to set your desired temperature, ranging from 45°C to 125°C.

After setting the desired temperature, the current device temperature will be displayed shortly.

Wax Heating Modes:

Hartwachs-Heizmodus (Hard Wax Heating Mode):

Press the "Hartwachs-Heizmodus" button. The device automatically heats to 125°C in 40 minutes and then switches to a constant temperature of 90°C. Two beeps indicate the temperature has been set. Note: In this mode, the temperature adjustment buttons and the canned wax mode button are inactive, and the button backlight is off. To exit this mode, press the "Hartwachs-Erwärmungsmodus" button again to return to manual mode.

Dosenwachserwärmungsmodus (Canned Wax Heating Mode):

Press the "Dosenwachserwärmungsmodus" button to activate it. The device automatically heats to 125°C in 60 minutes and then maintains 90°C. Two beeps indicate the temperature has been set. Note: In this mode, the temperature control buttons and the hard wax heating mode button are inactive, and the button backlight is off. To exit this mode, press the "Hartwachs-Erwärmungsmodus" button again to return to manual mode.

Usage Instructions

  1. Place wax into the device and close the lid.
  2. Connect the device to power and set the desired temperature or select the desired mode.
  3. Once the wax has melted, turn off the device using the control knob and unplug it.
  4. Ensure the wax is not too hot before applying it to the skin to avoid burns.
  5. Clean your skin before waxing. Your skin should be dry and clean.
  6. Apply the wax with a spatula along the direction of hair growth.
  7. Place the epilation paper onto the waxed skin.
  8. Remove the epilation paper with a decisive backward motion against the direction of hair growth.
  9. After waxing, apply an oil to soothe irritation and redness, remove wax residue, and moisturize the skin.
  10. Ensure the device is turned off and disconnected from the power supply.

Cleaning the Device

  1. Do not use solvents or harsh cleaning agents.
  2. Always disconnect the device from the power supply before cleaning.
  3. Do not immerse the device in water.
  4. Do not use sharp objects for cleaning.
  5. A special liquid can be used to remove wax residue.

Safety Precautions

  1. The device must not be disassembled or used for purposes other than those specified in this manual. All maintenance and repair work must be carried out by an authorized service technician (ACTIVESHOP Ltd.).
  2. Do not place the device near liquids, in wet areas, or operate it with wet hands to prevent liquids from entering the device.
  3. In the following cases, immediately unplug the device and contact an ACTIVESHOP Ltd. authorized service center: (a) liquid has entered the device, (b) the device emits a strange odor, smokes, or makes unusual noises, (c) the power cord is damaged, (d) the device has been dropped or its casing is damaged.
  4. Do not place objects on the cables. Do not position the device where the power cord can be stepped on.
  5. For safety reasons, always unplug the power cord from the socket when you finish working with the device.
  6. Do not insert objects into the device's opening. If a foreign object enters the opening, unplug the cable and contact the dealer or manufacturer.
  7. Do not place the device on an unstable trolley, shelf, or vehicle, as it may be damaged if it falls.
  8. To ensure the device's longevity, it is recommended to wait one minute between switching the power button on and off (and vice versa).
  9. The power supply must match the specifications on the rating plate. Otherwise, there is a risk that the device will not function correctly, will be damaged, or even burn out.

CAUTION!

  1. In case of damage to the power cord or other malfunctions, contact an authorized service point to avoid any danger.
  2. This device can be used by children aged 8 and above and by persons with reduced physical or mental capabilities, as well as lack of experience and familiarity with the device, if they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the device, so that they understand the associated risks.
  3. The device is not intended for use by children. Do not allow children to play with the device.
  4. Do not leave the device unattended when children or persons unfamiliar with its use are nearby.
  5. This electrical device is not a toy. Improper use or contact with the electrical device can pose a health hazard or lead to death; therefore, keep it out of reach of children.

Disposal of the Device

Dispose of used electrical appliances, furnishings, and packaging according to environmental protection regulations at recycling centers. Electrical appliances should not be disposed of with household waste. Please observe the rules for the disposal of this type of equipment.

To protect the environment, in accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment, old electrical equipment must be collected separately and then handed over to collection points for waste electrical and electronic equipment. Old equipment containing fully recyclable components should therefore be sent for recycling at the end of its service life. They should therefore be handed over to the appropriate collection points as well as to ACTIVESHOP Ltd.

Storage and Transport

The device should be transported at a temperature between -20°C and +50°C only in its original packaging. The device should be stored in a well-ventilated room with a relative humidity of no more than 75%. Operating temperature is from +10°C to +40°C. During storage and transport, the device must not be thrown or dropped and must not be exposed to mechanical shocks or weather influences.
