How to Use

  1. Place the wax cartridge into the container and replace the lid.
  2. Connect the device to the power socket and turn on the heating base using the O/I switch. For the TRIO 120W model, each heater can be activated separately.
  3. The average wax melting time is approximately 30 minutes, depending on the wax type.
  4. Once the wax has melted, turn off the heating base using the O/I switch.
  5. Ensure the wax is not too hot before applying it to the skin to avoid burns.
  6. Apply the wax with a spatula along the direction of hair growth.
  7. Then, apply the epilation paper.
  8. Pull the epilation paper against the direction of hair growth.
  9. Remove any remaining wax residue with oil or olive oil.
  10. When the treatment is complete, turn off the heating base using the O/I switch and unplug the device.

Cleaning the Device

  1. Do not use solvents or strong cleaning agents.
  2. Always unplug the device from the power supply before cleaning.
  3. Do not immerse the device in water.
  4. Do not use sharp objects for cleaning.
  5. You may use a specialized liquid to remove wax residue.

Safety Precautions

  1. The device must not be disassembled or used for purposes other than those stated in this manual. All servicing and repairs must be carried out only by an authorized service technician (ACTIVESHOP Ltd.).
  2. Do not install or use the device near liquids, wet areas, or with wet hands to prevent liquids from entering the device.
  3. Immediately disconnect the unit from the socket and contact an authorized service center provided by ACTIVESHOP Sp. z o.o. in the following cases:
    • a) If liquid has entered the device.
    • b) The device emits a strange smell, smoke, or makes strange noises.
    • c) The power cord is damaged.
    • d) The device has tipped over or its casing is damaged.
  4. Do not place objects on the cables. Do not install the device where someone might step on the power cord.
  5. For safety reasons, remove the power cord from the socket each time you finish working with the unit.
  6. Do not insert anything into the device opening. If a foreign object enters the opening, unplug the device and contact the distributor or manufacturer.
  7. Do not place the device on an unstable trolley, shelf, or vehicle. The device may be damaged if it falls.
  8. To ensure the stable lifespan of the device, it is recommended to maintain a one-minute interval before pressing the operating button repeatedly (between switching on and off and vice versa).
  9. The power supply must meet the specifications indicated on the type plate. Otherwise, there is a risk of malfunction, damage, or even burning of the device.

CAUTION!

  1. In case of damage to the power cord or other malfunctions, contact an authorized service center to avoid any risk.
  2. This device can be used by children aged at least 8 years and by persons with reduced physical and mental capabilities and lack of experience and familiarity with the equipment, provided that supervision or instructions for the safe use of the equipment are given, so that the relevant risks are understood.
  3. The equipment is not intended for children to play with. Do not allow children to play with the device.
  4. Do not leave the device unattended when children or persons unfamiliar with its use are nearby.
  5. This electrical device is not a toy. Misuse or contact with the electrical device can pose a health risk or lead to death, so keep it away from children.

Disposal of the Device

Dispose of used electrical appliances, accessories, and packaging at environmentally friendly recycling centers. Electrical appliances must not be disposed of in household waste bins. Follow the rules for disposing of this type of device. For environmental protection according to Directive 2012/19/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment, used electrical appliances must be collected separately and handed over to collection points for waste electrical and electronic equipment. At the end of their useful life, old appliances containing fully recyclable components should therefore be sent for recycling. They should therefore be handed over to appropriate collection points, as well as to ACTIVESHOP Ltd.

Storage and Transport

The unit must be transported in its original packaging at a temperature between -20 °C and +50 °C. The unit should be stored in a well-ventilated area with a relative humidity not exceeding 75%. Operating temperature from +10 °C to +40 °C. During storage and transport, the device must not be thrown or dropped, exposed to mechanical vibrations, or atmospheric factors.
