Display
The unit features a digital display showing the current temperature and mode. Key elements include:
- WAX-700 logo
- Temperature display (e.g., 248°F)
- Heating button: Increases temperature (labeled "Increasing hard wax temperature").
- Block wax button.
- Roller wax button.
- Reduce button: Decreases temperature (labeled "Decreasing temperature").
- Open/Close button: Also functions as the "On/Off switch".
- °C/°F button: Changes temperature unit from Celsius to Fahrenheit (labeled "Change from °C to °F").
Operation
- Turn on/off: Press the [power-button] to turn the unit on or off.
- Adjusting the temperature: Use the + (Heating) buttons to increase the temperature and - (reduce) to decrease the temperature.
- Changing the unit: Hold down the °C/°F [temp-unit-button] to change the temperature unit from °C to °F.
Special Modes
- 60°C hard wax heating mode.
- 70°C canned wax heating mode.
Usage
- Place the wax in the container and put the lid on.
- Plug in the device, turn it on and select the appropriate temperature in °C or °F and the mode according to the type of wax.
- When the wax has melted, turn off the heater with the "on/off" button and then unplug.
- Before applying the wax to the skin, make sure the wax is not too hot to avoid burning.
- Clean your skin before epilating; your skin should be dry and clean.
- Apply the wax with a stick to the skin along the direction of the hair.
- Stick the depilatory paper on the wax-covered skin.
- Tear off the depilatory paper in a firm motion opposite the direction of the hair.
- After epilating, apply a post-epilation oil or oil that soothes irritation and redness, removes wax residue, and moisturizes the skin.
- Make sure the device is turned off and unplugged.
Cleaning the device
- Do not use solvents or strong cleaning agents.
- Always unplug the device before cleaning.
- Do not soak the device in water.
- Do not use sharp objects for cleaning.
- You can use a special liquid to remove wax residue.
Safety Measures
- Do not disassemble the device or attempt to use it for purposes other than those indicated in this manual. Any service and repair work must be performed only by an authorized service technician (ACTIVESHOP Ltd. company).
- Do not install or operate the device near liquids, wet places, or with wet hands, so that no liquids get into the device.
- Immediately unplug the device from the outlet and contact an authorized service provided by ACTIVESHOP Ltd. in the following cases:
- a) liquid has gotten into the device,
- b) the device emits a strange odor, smoke, or makes strange sounds,
- c) the power cord has been damaged,
- d) the device has been knocked over or its housing has been damaged.
- Do not lay any objects on the cables. Do not install the device in places where someone may step on the power cord.
- For safety purposes, remove the power cord from the outlet each time you finish working with the device.
- Do not insert anything into the opening of the device. If a foreign object gets into the hole, remove the cord from the outlet and contact the distributor or manufacturer.
- Do not place the device on an unstable cart, shelf, or vehicle. If dropped, the device may be damaged.
- To guarantee the established useful life of the device, it is recommended to maintain an interval of one minute before pressing the power button again (between switching on and off and vice versa).
- The power supply must comply with the specifications on the nameplate. Otherwise, there is a risk of incorrect operation of the device, damage, or even burning.
Caution!
- In the event of damage to the power cord or other malfunctions, contact an authorized service center to avoid danger.
- This device can be used by children at least 8 years old and by people with reduced physical and mental abilities, and those with inexperience and lack of familiarity with the equipment, if supervision or instruction on the use of the equipment in a safe manner is provided, so that the associated risks are understood.
- The equipment is not intended for play by children. Do not allow children to play with the equipment.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended when children or persons without sufficient knowledge of the use of the appliance are in the vicinity.
- This electrical appliance is not a toy. Improper use or contact with the electrical appliance may pose a health risk, or lead to death, so keep it out of the reach of children.
Disposal of the Device
[recycling-symbol] Dispose of used electrical appliances, fixtures, and packaging at raw material reprocessing centers in accordance with environmental protection principles. Electrical appliances should not be disposed of in household waste containers. Follow the rules for disposal of this type of equipment. In order to protect the environment, in accordance with Directive 2012/19/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment, waste electrical equipment should be collected separately and sent to collection centers for waste electronic and electrical equipment. At the end of their useful life, as well as old appliances containing full-value recyclable components, they should be sent for reprocessing. Therefore, they should be handed over to appropriate collection points, as well as they can be handed over to ACTIVESHOP Ltd.
Storage and Transport
The device should be transported at a temperature in the range of (-) 20 °C to (+) 50 °C, only in its original packaging. Store the device in a well-ventilated place and a relative humidity of no more than 75%. Operating temperature is from (+) 10 °C to (+) 40 °C. During the storage and transportation processes, the device must not be thrown or dropped, exposed to mechanical shocks, or atmospheric agents.
