Diagram: Convector Outline
A diagram illustrates the convector's profile, showing the relationship between 'D' (depth), 'L' (length), and 'H' (height). It indicates a wall mounting configuration with a damper, adjustable field settings, and louvers. Key dimensions are labeled, including the overall length ('L'), depth ('D'), and height ('H'). The diagram also shows the placement of the outlet louvers and the base/floor.

Table 6: Pressure Loss in Feet of Water
Charted figures showing pressure drop through Convectors with forced hot water. Used for determining pressure head requirement. Based on 64" length units, but applicable to shorter units, as most loss is due to headers.

Table 7: Gallons Per Minute of Hot Water Required
This is a graph illustrating the relationship between MBH (Thousands of BTU per Hour) on the x-axis and GPM (Gallons Per Minute) on the y-axis. It shows different lines representing various temperature drops (10°F, 20°F, 30°F, 40°F) for hot water flow.

Note: Table 8 shows MBH which result at specific water temperature drops and minimum water flow rates which are required to maintain turbulent flow within element tubes.
Diagram: Convector Coil
A diagram details the convector coil construction. It specifies coil sizes based on the number of tubes: 4" depth has a 2-tube element (3 3/4" width), 6" depth has a 3-tube element (5 3/4" width), and 8" depth has a 4-tube element (7 3/4" width). The diagram shows the end-to-end length being the liner length less 1/2", and riser centers being the liner length less 2 1/2". It also indicates a 3/4" NPT typical connection, a vent plug, and a 3-position hanger welded to the liner. A note clarifies that when ordering with end pockets, the overall physical length increases by 4" per pocket, while the coil length remains standard. Coil fins are 2-1/2" high and mechanically bonded to copper tubes at 6 fins per inch.
