Safety Instructions
Please read these safety instructions carefully before using the device.
- Clean the radio with a damp, soft cloth or chamois leather. Never use solvents.
- Do not expose the device to moisture or high temperatures.
- Do not use the device immediately after moving it from a cold to a warm room, as condensation may cause malfunctions.
- To avoid accidents, observe battery polarity and do not mix different types of batteries.
- To prevent splashing, do not place containers with liquids, such as vases, near the device.
- Do not place candles near the device.
- Dispose of used batteries responsibly, following environmental protection guidelines.
- The type plate is located on the back of the device.
- Never dispose of batteries in fire!

The portable 4-band radio features the following components:

Power Supply
Inserting Batteries
- Open the battery compartment by pressing the indicated spot on the compartment and removing the cover.
- Insert 4 x C/R14/UM2 batteries, observing the polarity (+ and -) as indicated in the diagram inside the battery compartment.
- Close the battery compartment.
Precautions for Battery Use
- Use only batteries that comply with the manufacturer's specifications.
- Observe battery polarity when inserting batteries. Incorrect polarity can damage the device.
- Never use different types of batteries simultaneously (e.g., alkaline or carbon-zinc batteries) or mix new and used batteries.
- If the device will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent damage from leakage.
- Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries; they may overheat and explode.
- Do not expose batteries to excessive heat, such as direct sunlight, fire, or similar heat sources.
Before disposing of batteries, consult your dealer for recycling options.
Notes:
- The device operates on batteries only when the power cable is disconnected from the mains (11). For safety, unplug the power cable from the socket while the device is running on batteries.
- When the power cable is connected to the device and a power outlet, the radio automatically uses the mains power supply. Batteries can remain in the device but will not be used when the power cable is connected.
Connecting the Mains Power Cable
- Connect the detachable power cable (supplied) to the power input located on the back of the device.
- Connect the power cable to a 230V~50Hz AC power outlet.
Radio Operation
- Press the ON/OFF button (1) to turn the device on.
- Set the BAND switch (6) to the desired frequency range (FM/SW/LW/MW).
- Turn the TUNING knob (2) to select a radio frequency.
- Adjust the volume using the VOLUME knob (3).
- To improve reception of SW/FM stations, extend the antenna. For LW/MW stations, try rotating the device to achieve better reception.
- Press the ON/OFF button (1) to turn the device off.
Headphone Usage
Connect headphones (not included) to the headphone output of the device.
Connecting an Auxiliary Device
Connect your auxiliary device (e.g., an MP3 player) to the AUX input on the right side of the device. The radio will automatically switch to AUX mode.
