This document provides instructions and safety information for the KAPPLAKE LED spotlight.
ℹ️ For indoor use only.
The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable. When the light source reaches its end of life, the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: ONLY USE A SAFETY TRANSFORMER WITH A SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) OUTPUT AS A SUPPLY FOR THE PRODUCT.
Important Safety Warnings
⚠️ WARNING – Strangulation Hazard
- NEVER place cord within reach of a child in a cot or playpen.
- ALWAYS secure cord to wall or cabinet.
- Check regularly that the cord is securely fastened.
- Pull the cord to remove any slack between fasteners.
- Tie up any remaining slack cord between the driver and socket.
Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps to assemble and install your KAPPLAKE LED spotlight.
Parts Included:
- 1x Circular mounting piece with a curved edge (for cable management)
- 1x Circular adhesive mounting disc
- 1x Set of two semi-circular cable clips
Step 1: Prepare Mounting Location
ℹ️ Drill a hole of Ø 8 mm (5/16") in the desired location (e.g., cabinet).
Step 2: Route the Cable
Feed the USB cable through the drilled hole.
Step 3: Attach Adhesive Disc
Peel the backing from the circular adhesive disc and attach it to the back of the light fixture.
Step 4: Mount the Light Fixture
Align the light fixture with the mounting location. Press firmly and hold for approximately 5 seconds (⏱️ 5 sec) to secure.
Step 5: Connect Power
Plug the USB cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., laptop, USB adapter).
Step 6: Operation
The light is touch-controlled. Tap the surface to turn on/off or adjust brightness. (? with arrows indicate adjustment).
Step 7: Cable Management
Use the provided semi-circular clips to secure the cable along walls or cabinets.
ℹ️ Apply clips to the surface and snap the cable into place.
Step 8: Final Cable Securing
Ensure the cable is securely fastened. Pull the cord to remove slack between fasteners. Tie up any excess cable between the driver and the socket.
⚠️ Ensure the cable is not loose and is properly secured.
Step 9: Cleaning and Maintenance
ℹ️ The light fixture can be cleaned by dipping it in water (? H₂O) and then drying it thoroughly.
⚠️ Do not immerse the driver or plug in water.
