8664 Installation Instructions

⚠️ Caution: Edges of aluminum parts may be sharp. Wear gloves and handle with care.

1. Measure and Cut: Measure the door sill at the bottom of the frame. Cut the threshold to span the full width of the opening.
2. Notch for Jamb Stops: If the door frame has side jamb stops, notch the threshold ends as needed to ensure a proper fit.
3. Secure the Threshold: Place the threshold on the sill and fasten it in place using the provided screws.
4. Check Door Operation: Open and close the door several times to confirm that it latches and closes smoothly. Make any necessary adjustments to the threshold.

UL Classification and Fire Door Compatibility

This product is classified as Positive Pressure Tested Gasketing Materials for Fire Doors.

It is intended for application with:

• Listed steel frames
• Classified steel covered composite, hollow metal type fire doors rated up to 3 hours
• Wood and plastic covered composite type fire doors rated up to 1-1/2 hours
• Wood core type fire doors rated up to 20 minutes

It meets standards: UL10B, UL10C, and CAN4-S104-2010.
