Zebra ZC100/ZC300 Series Card Printer Setup

This guide provides essential information for setting up your Zebra ZC100 or ZC300 series card printer.

Power Connection

Connect the power adapter to the printer and a power outlet. The power adapter supports 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz.

Power Adapter Specifications:

  • Input: 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz
  • Output: 24 VDC, 100 W

Connections:

  • Connect the 24 VDC output from the power adapter to the printer's power port.
  • Connect the USB cable to the printer and your computer.
  • Connect the Ethernet cable (if applicable) to the printer and your network.

Basic Operation

Follow these steps for basic card printing:

  1. Prepare the Printer: Open the printer cover.
  2. Load Ribbon: Remove the ribbon spool packaging and insert the ribbon spool.
  3. Load Cards: Open the card hopper and insert the cards. Ensure the cards are properly aligned.
  4. Close Printer: Close the printer cover securely.

Printer Status Indicators

  • Power On: The power light will illuminate when the printer is powered on.
  • Ready: The status light indicates the printer is ready to print.
  • Printing Single Card: The indicator shows when a single card is being fed.
  • Manual Card Feed: Indicates manual card feeding is active.
  • Card Error: Signifies a card jam or issue with card feeding. May require cleaning.
  • Ribbon Error: Indicates a problem with the ribbon, possibly requiring cleaning.
  • Power Off: The power light is off.
  • Serious Error: A critical error has occurred. Refer to the full manual.
