Installation Instructions
- Install the rubber sleeve (D) onto the sewage pump and secure it with a 90-110mm hose clamp (G). Ensure the rubber sleeve is not installed backwards.
- Select accessory A-B (check valve with plastic elbow). Ensure its hose clamp is secured. Choose the appropriate drain pipe size (28mm, 32mm, or 40mm). The dimensions are marked on the accessories. For this example, a 1-1/4" (32mm) drain pipe is used, cutting off any excess. Note: Smaller pipe diameters result in higher lift.
- When making turns in the PVC water pipe, use a combination of two 45-degree elbows instead of a single right-angle elbow to avoid affecting the vertical lifting height. Correct: Two 45-degree elbows. Incorrect: Right-angle elbow.
- Install a ball valve (not provided) near the water outlet to prevent sewage leakage during pump disassembly.
- When connecting to the main pipe, the drain pipe must enter from above the main pipe to prevent backflow. Correct: Drain pipe enters from above. Incorrect: Drain pipe enters from below.
- For optimal performance, initially drain upwards, then ensure the drain pipe slopes at a 2%-3% incline towards the main pipe. Failure to do so may cause sewage to flow back.
Diagram illustrates correct and incorrect pipe bending for optimal lift.
Installation of Connecting Pipe in the Shower Room
- Install the plastic hose fitting (E) and secure it with the hose clamp (C). The pump has inlet holes on the left and right sides for connecting the shower room and sink. Unused inlets can be plugged with accessory K.
- When installing the shower room, a wooden or iron shower base, or a cement platform can be used. Ensure the slope of the siphon for shower and bath wastewater is at least 3% (approximately 0.4 inches per 40 inches) to allow wastewater to flow to the unit via gravity. If other sanitary units are connected, install check valves in their respective waste pipes to prevent backflow. The shower room chassis should be raised to a minimum height of 6 inches (15 cm), depending on the distance to the pump.
- If more equipment needs to be connected and the top water inlet is to be used, open it with a saw and connect with a hose.
- If the toilet is not connected, use the lid (J) to block the toilet water inlet and secure it with clamp (G). Then, connect only the sink, shower room, and washing machine.
Diagram shows connecting a hose fitting (E) with a clamp (C) to the pump inlet. Another diagram shows blocking an unused inlet with a lid (J).
Double Deodorant Function
The pump features two deodorizing functions:
- Activated Carbon: Place a bag of activated carbon into the vent and cover it tightly. The activated carbon should be replaced annually.
- Ventilation Ducts: A vent pipe (1-1/2" or 40mm diameter) can be installed. While this adds complexity and cost, it is an alternative deodorizing method.
The diagram shows the vent pipe connected to the top of the pump.
Final Connections and Warnings
- Connect the toilet and secure it with a 110-120mm hose clamp (H). Ensure the macerating pump is positioned parallel to the toilet.
- CAUTION: Do not discharge acids, alkaloids, solvents, painting materials, paint strippers, food waste, plastic bags, metal objects (nails, hairpins), wood building materials, kitty litter, or any substances that could clog, damage, or corrode the unit. Doing so may damage the macerating unit and void the warranty.
Diagram shows the correct connection of the toilet to the pump with clamp (H). Another diagram lists items that should not be discharged into the pump, marked with a red cross.
Warnings
