The FL0700 has been developed with utmost care and tested at the factory. It is possible that test water may remain in the appliance.

General Description

This equipment is intended for indoor use only and should be avoided for commercial applications. The FL0700 macerator pump system is designed for toilets with a horizontal outlet (P-trap toilet). The pump automatically activates when a specific water level is reached. Proper installation and maintenance, as detailed in this manual, are crucial for the grinder's operation and the appliance's power, safety, and reliability.

Connectivity

The FLO700 is specially designed to connect with:

  • WC (Toilet)
  • Shower cabin
  • Wash basin
  • Washing machine
  • Bidet
  • Urinal

Installation Instructions

Step (5-1): Rubber Sleeve Installation

Install the rubber sleeve (D) onto the sewage pump and secure it with a 90-110mm hose clamp (G). Ensure the rubber sleeve is not installed backward.

Diagram showing the installation of rubber sleeve (D) onto the sewage pump, secured with hose clamp (G).

Step (5-2): Drain Pipe Connection

Select accessory A-B and ensure its hose clamp is locked before installation. Choose the appropriate drain pipe size (1" (28mm), 1-1/4" (32mm), or 40mm (1-1/4")). The dimensions are marked on the accessories. For this example, a 1-1/4" (32mm) drain pipe is used. Trim any excess pipe with a knife.

Note: A smaller pipe diameter results in a higher lift.

Step (5-3): PVC Water Pipe Elbows

When connecting PVC water pipes, use a large elbow composed of two 45-degree elbows instead of a single right-angle elbow. This is crucial for maintaining the vertical lifting height.

Illustration showing the correct installation of pipe corners using two 45-degree elbows (✔️) versus an incorrect right-angle elbow (❌) to maintain vertical lifting height.

Step (5-4): Ball Valve Installation

Install a ball valve (not provided) near the water outlet. This prevents sewage leakage when the pump is disassembled.

Step (5-5): Main Pipe Connection

When connecting to the main pipe, the drain pipe must enter from above the main pipe to prevent backflow.

Diagram showing correct and incorrect methods for connecting the drain pipe to the main pipe. The correct method involves connecting from above the main pipe to prevent backflow (✔️), while connecting from below is incorrect (❌).

Step (5-6): Drainage Incline

For optimal performance, drain the pipe upward first, then connect to the main pipe with a 2%-3% incline. Failure to do so may cause sewage to flow back.

Diagram illustrating the recommended drainage path: first upward, then to the main pipe with a 2%-3% incline, to ensure proper performance and prevent sewage backflow.

Step (6-1): Connecting Pipe in Shower Room

Install the plastic hose fitting (E) and secure it with the hose clamp (C). The pump has two inlet holes on the left and right sides for connecting the shower room and sink. If a water inlet is not used, it can be plugged with accessory K.

Diagram showing the installation of plastic hose fitting (E) secured with hose clamp (C) onto one of the pump's inlet holes. Accessory K is shown as a plug for an unused inlet.

Step (6-2): Shower Room Installation

When installing the shower room, consider installing a wooden or iron shower base or building a cement platform. For wastewater from the shower and bath, ensure the siphon has at least a 3% slope (0.4 inches per 40 inches) so wastewater flows by natural gravity to the unit. If other sanitary units are connected to the disposal line, install check valves in the appropriate waste pipes to prevent backflow.

Note: Ensure the shower room chassis is raised to a minimum height of 6 inches (15 cm). This height may also depend on the distance between the shower room and the pump.

Diagram illustrating the installation of the pump in relation to a shower room, emphasizing the need for a raised shower room chassis (minimum 6 inches / 15 cm) and a minimum 3% slope for wastewater drainage to the pump.

Step (6-3): Connecting More Equipment

If you need to connect more equipment and use the top water inlet, open it with a saw and connect it with a hose.

Diagram illustrating the connection of additional equipment via the top water inlet. It shows opening the inlet with a saw and connecting a hose, or plugging an unused inlet with accessory K.

Step (6-4): Toilet Not Connected

If the toilet is not connected, use the lid (J) to block the toilet water inlet and secure it with clamp (G). Then, connect only the sink, shower room, and washing machine.

Diagram showing the pump connected to a sink and shower room, with accessory J (lid) used to block the toilet water inlet when the toilet is not connected.

Double Deodorant Function

The pump offers two deodorization methods:

  1. Activated Carbon: Place a bag of activated carbon into the vent and cover it tightly.
  2. Ventilation Ducts: Deodorization is also achieved using ventilation ducts. The vent pipe size is 1-1/2" (40mm). Not installing ventilation ducts can save trouble and cost, but activated carbon must be replaced annually.

Diagram illustrating the double deodorant function, showing a vent pipe connected to the pump for deodorization.

Step (8-1): Final Toilet Connection

Finally, connect the toilet and secure it with a 110-120mm hose clamp (H). The macerating pump should be installed parallel to the toilet.

Diagram showing the final connection of the toilet to the pump using hose clamp (H). It also illustrates the correct positioning of the macerating pump parallel to the toilet, with a maximum distance of 20cm.

Step (8-2): Prohibited Discharges

CAUTION: Do not discharge any acids, alkaloids, solvents, paint, paint strippers, food waste, plastic bags, metal objects (nails, hairpins), wood building materials, kitty litter, or anything that could halt, damage, or corrode the unit. Disregarding these warnings may damage the macerating unit and void your warranty.
