Accessories

The following accessories are included:

The water temperature should be a minimum of 1°C to prevent freezing, and a maximum water temperature of 90°C.

Parameter Value Parameter Value
Input Power Rating 500W Max Vertical Lift 8M
Input Voltage 220-240V, 50HZ Max Temperature 90 °C
Flow Rated 110L/MIN Noise Level 45 dBA

How the Unit Functions

The macerator is a tank that is gravity-fed from a toilet, washing machine, shower, etc. It has a built-in pressure switch that detects incoming waste and starts a pump with cutting blades. This process reduces the effluent to a pumpable fluid, which is then pumped through small-diameter pipes into the drains. A non-return valve is fitted as standard, enabling the unit to pump up to 8 meters vertically.

Installation

Electrics

The unit must be installed according to current electrical regulations, with a fused spur mounted outside the room, fused at 3 amps. It is advised that this is done by a registered electrician.

Connection

The unit is designed for a horizontal toilet with an outlet 18 cm from the floor (standard European). All other inlets must be gravity-fed into the unit. The outlet comes standard with a 32 mm connection, but a 22 mm connection can be used with a reducer. It is important that the pipe run uses radius bends and avoids 90-degree (right-angle) elbows to prevent blockages.

Visual Description: Two diagrams are shown. The first shows a correct installation with a green checkmark, indicating a curved pipe bend. The second shows an incorrect installation with a red cross, indicating a sharp 90-degree elbow.

If the water outlet is discharged horizontally, the water pipe must have a 1% inclination.

If the sewage is discharged upwards, the horizontal pipe should not exceed 1 ft (30 cm).

Inlet

The unit can be used with one input, such as a toilet, shower, or sink, or multiple inputs simultaneously. Blanking covers are provided for unused inlets.
