Included hardware:
- 2x Screws (Part ID: 103096)
Step 1: Prepare Tabletop
Place the tabletop upside down on a protected surface. Attach the necessary support components to the underside of the tabletop using the provided screws.
Visual Description: The tabletop is shown upside down on a patterned surface. Screws are being used to attach parts to the tabletop surface.
Parts used: 2x Screws (Part ID: 103096)
Step 2: Initial Extension
Slide the two halves of the table apart to expose the extension mechanism. Engage the locking mechanisms to secure the extended position.
Visual Description: The table is shown with arrows indicating the two halves sliding outwards. A close-up view illustrates engaging the locking mechanism.
Engage locking mechanisms: 2x [locking mechanism parts]
Step 3: Insert Extension Leaves
Carefully insert the extension leaves into the gap created by extending the table. Ensure they fit snugly and are level with the main tabletop.
Visual Description: Extension leaves are being placed into the extended frame of the table.
Step 4: Further Extension and Securing
Slide the table halves further apart to fully extend the table with the leaves in place. Secure the extended table by engaging the locking mechanisms.
Visual Description: The table is shown in a more extended state. A close-up shows the locking mechanism being engaged. A warning symbol (❌) is displayed with a specific part, indicating it should not be used in a particular way.
Engage locking mechanisms: 2x [locking mechanism parts]
Note: Pay attention to the correct usage of the locking pin/lever as indicated by the warning symbol.
Step 5: Retracting the Table
To retract the table, first disengage the locking mechanisms. Then, carefully slide the table halves back together until they meet.
Visual Description: Arrows indicate the table halves sliding inwards. A close-up shows the locking mechanism being disengaged.
Step 6: Inserting Extension Leaves (Retracted)
This step illustrates inserting extension leaves into the table when it is in its retracted or partially extended state. This might be for storage or a different configuration.
Visual Description: Extension leaves are being inserted into the table's mechanism.
Step 7: Extend Table (Repeat/Alternative)
Slide the table halves apart to extend the table. Engage the locking mechanisms to secure the extended position.
Visual Description: Arrows show the table halves sliding outwards. A close-up illustrates engaging the locking mechanism.
Engage locking mechanisms: 2x [locking mechanism parts]
Step 8: Retract Table (Repeat/Alternative)
Disengage the locking mechanisms and slide the table halves together to retract the table to its original size.
Visual Description: Arrows show the table halves sliding inwards. A close-up illustrates disengaging the locking mechanism.
