Installation Tips
IMPORTANT
Refer to Step 1 to learn if the door is right-handed or left-handed.
Before tightening the interior assembly screws, test if the thumb turn can move to lock/unlock. If not, please go back to Step 2 and reinstall.
If the direction of the slide switch is set incorrectly, it can be changed in the DDLock App (Settings > Door opening direction).
STEP 1
Determine your door's handedness:
Right-handed door: The door hinges are on the right side of the door frame.
Left-handed door: The door hinges are on the left side of the door frame.
STEP 2
Adjust the internal slide switch and thumb turn according to your door's handedness:
Right-handed door
Move the slide switch to "R".
Turn the thumb turn to the Vertical position.
Left-handed door
Move the slide switch to "L".
Turn the thumb turn to the Horizontal position.
Note: The illustration shows the lock in the "Unlocked" state. The slide switch is a small lever, and the thumb turn is the knob used for manual locking/unlocking from the inside.
