Exterior Assembly
The exterior assembly features a keypad for code entry, an IC card touch area, indicator lights, and a keyhole for backup key access.
Interior Assembly
The interior assembly includes the battery compartment, a thumb turn for manual operation, a privacy button, and a reset button.
How to Lock / Unlock
Unlock the Door from Outside
Enter your Master/User code followed by the '#' symbol. Alternatively, use a backup key.
Unlock the Door from Inside
Rotate the thumb turn on the interior assembly.
Lock the Door from Inside
- Auto Lock Mode: The bolt extends automatically 5 seconds after unlocking.
- Manual Mode: Press and hold '#' on the keypad for 2 seconds.
Manual Locking with Thumb Turn: Rotate the thumb turn to the lock position. For right-handed doors, turn the thumb turn vertically. For left-handed doors, turn it horizontally.
Definitions
- Master Code: The default master code is 123456. It is recommended to change this after pairing with the DDLock App.
- Auto Lock & One-touch Lock: Auto Lock extends the deadbolt automatically after the door is closed. One-touch Lock allows locking from the outside by pressing and holding '#' for 2 seconds.
- Private Mode: Activated by pressing and holding the 'Privacy button' on the inside panel for over 2 seconds. In this mode, unlocking via password and IC cards is disabled, but Bluetooth, physical key, and admin password unlocking remain available. Press the button once to disable Private Mode.
- Wrong Entry Limit: After 5 incorrect password attempts, the device will shut down for 2 minutes.
- Passage Mode: Keeps the lock unlocked until manually locked. Auto-lock is disabled in this mode.
- Anti-peeping Password: Allows entering random numbers before or after the correct password to prevent exposure. The total length of the anti-peeping password should be within 16 digits.

1 Prepare the door and check dimensions
- A: Measure door holes: 1-1/2" or 2-1/8" (38mm or 54mm) for the main hole, and 1" (25mm) for the edge hole.
- B: Measure backset: 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" (60 or 70mm).
- C: Measure door thickness: 1-3/8" to 2" (35mm to 50mm).
- D: Ensure the hole in the door frame is at least 1" (25mm) deep for the deadbolt. Ensure the door frame is aligned and clear of obstructions.
2 Install the latch and strike
- Determine the backset and adjust the latch accordingly. Ensure the slotted hole is centered in the door hole. If not, rotate and pull the latch to extend it.
- Install the latch using Latch Screws (J).
- Test the deadbolt with a screwdriver to ensure it operates smoothly.
- Install the strike (D) on the door frame using Strike Screws (I). Ensure the hole in the door frame is at least 1" (25mm) deep.
3 Install exterior assembly
- Ensure the latch is fully retracted (unlocked position).
- Route the cable below the latch and insert the tailpiece through the latch slot.
- Secure the mounting plate (E) with Mounting plate Screws (K). Do not overtighten.
4 Install interior assembly
- Slide the battery cover (H) off.
- Determine if the door is right-handed or left-handed and set the slide switch accordingly. For right-handed doors, move the switch to 'R' and turn the thumb turn vertically. For left-handed doors, move the switch to 'L' and turn the thumb turn horizontally.
- Connect the cable from the exterior assembly to the socket on the interior assembly.
- Attach the interior assembly (G) to the mounting plate and secure it with Interior Assembly Screws (L).
- Insert 4 AA Alkaline batteries and replace the battery cover.
Factory Default Settings
How to Reset?
Press and hold the Reset button (M) on the interior assembly for 5 seconds using the Reset tool. A short beep and a green light flash indicate a successful reset. If the lock is paired, reset the button in the DDLock App settings before performing a physical reset.

Programming Guide
Note: The default master code is 123456. It is required to change the master code before programming. If the default master code was changed, reset the lock before pairing with the DDLock App.
- Change Master Code: Enter *123456# (default master code), then your new master code followed by #, and confirm with the same new master code followed by #.
- Add User Card: Enter *80# , then your Master Code followed by #, then scan the User Card.
- Add User Code: Enter *80#, then Master Code + #, then New User Code + #, then confirm with Same New User Code + #.
- Change User Code: Enter *10#, then Unwanted User Code + #, then New User Code + #, then confirm with Same New User Code + #.
- Delete All User Card: Enter *69#, then Master Code + #.
- Delete All User Code: Enter *71#, then Master Code + #.
Troubleshooting
- Lock won't accept inputs after incorrect entries: The lock enters a 2-minute lockout after 5 incorrect attempts. Unlock via the App or wait 2 minutes.
- How to lock manually from outside: Press and hold '#' on the keypad for 2 seconds.
- Batteries dead: Use the physical backup keys to unlock the door.
- Thumb turn won't turn: Check if the door direction (slide switch) was set correctly during installation. Refer to the installation guide or video.
- Latch won't extend completely: Ensure the exterior assembly is installed parallel to the door edge and not at a crooked angle.

- Restrict access to the lock's interior assembly and check settings regularly.
- Do not use an electric screwdriver during installation.
- No lock can provide complete security by itself.
- This lock can be defeated by forcible or technical means, or bypassed by entry elsewhere on the property.
- No lock can substitute for caution, awareness of your environment, and common sense.
- For cleaning, use a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishes that may damage the finish.
- The lock is water-resistant but not waterproof. Avoid prolonged exposure to water or liquids.
- Avoid direct sunlight exposure, as it may damage the lock over time.
