Pioneer Consumer Warranty

The authorized Pioneer distributor (hereinafter referred to as the "distributor") in the country where this product was originally purchased (as listed in this warranty certificate) guarantees that the product is free from material or manufacturing defects according to the terms and conditions stated below.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Pioneer's consumer warranty is valid in all countries listed in this warranty certificate for a period of one year from delivery.
2. If the product ceases to function correctly during the warranty period, an authorized Pioneer dealer or an authorized Pioneer service workshop will ensure that the product can be used for its intended purpose, without charge for labor or spare parts.
3. The warranty will only be honored if the original invoice or receipt and/or a correctly completed warranty certificate is presented to an authorized Pioneer dealer or authorized service workshop. Pioneer reserves the right to refuse free warranty service if the information in these documents is incomplete or illegible.
4. The distributor's obligations are limited, at their sole discretion, to either repair or replace defective parts of the product.
5. All warranty repairs must be performed by an authorized Pioneer dealer or an authorized Pioneer service workshop. Repairs performed by unauthorized service workshops will not be reimbursed, and if such a repair is performed, the product will not be covered by this warranty.
6. This warranty does not cover any product used for trade, business, or industrial or commercial purposes.
7. This warranty covers only material and manufacturing defects and does not apply to the following:
   • Periodic checks, adjustments, maintenance, or modifications, nor replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear.
   • Damage caused by accident, negligence, modification, use of non-Pioneer approved parts, improper handling, installation, or packaging.
   • Damage caused by lightning, water, fire, acts of war, disturbances in public supply systems, incorrect mains voltage, improper ventilation, or any other cause beyond the distributor's control.
   • Loudspeakers subjected to higher power than they were designed for.
   • Products with altered, erased, missing, or illegible serial numbers.
   • Non-compliance with any guideline or warning in the Handbook (manual) or other accompanying documentation.
8. The distributor is not responsible for any damage to audio/video/data media or any equipment used in conjunction with the product.
9. This warranty is offered to any person who legally becomes the owner of the product during the warranty period.
10. This warranty constitutes the buyer's sole remedy; Pioneer Corporation and Pioneer Europe NV are not liable for any repair or replacement costs, nor do they assume any responsibility for any damage or loss resulting directly or indirectly from the product ceasing to function correctly.
11. This warranty only covers products purchased in one of the countries listed in this warranty certificate. The warranty remains valid if the product is moved to another of the listed countries after such a purchase.
12. This warranty is offered in addition to the buyer's rights under applicable legislation. It does not affect any warranty terms granted to the buyer in the country of purchase beyond this warranty.
