Indoor Unit (IDU) Disassembly
Indoor Unit Model Numbers: UT018GLSILCFHG | UT024GLSILSFHG
Steps | Reference Description |
---|---|
Before disassembly | The unit is shown in its assembled state, ready for disassembly. |
1. Remove the front grille | Locate and remove screws securing the front grille. The diagram shows screws being released by pushing buckles in a specific direction. Once screws are removed, open the grille and detach it from the back snap hooks. |
2. Dismantle the left and right side plate | Unfasten the screws as indicated in the diagram. The illustration shows the left and right side plates being detached from snap hooks. |
3. Remove the electronic control box assembly | Unscrew the fasteners holding the electronic control box. The diagram shows the removal of the electronic control cover plate. |
4. Remove the front panel assembly | Unfix the screws on the front panel. The diagram illustrates the removal of the entire front panel assembly. |
5. Remove the water tray | Carefully remove the water tray as depicted in the accompanying illustration. |
6. Remove the evaporator assembly | Extract the evaporator assembly from the unit, following the visual guidance in the diagram. |
7. Remove the display panel and vane assembly | Take out the display panel and vane assembly as shown in the illustration. |
8. Remove the volute parts | Remove the volute parts as illustrated in the diagram. |
9. Disassemble the centrifugal fan | Extract the centrifugal fans as shown in the accompanying illustration. |
10. Disassemble the fan motor | Remove the fan motor as depicted in the diagram. |
Outdoor Unit (ODU) Disassembly
Outdoor Unit Model Numbers: YN018GLSI24RPG | YN024GLSI24RPG
Steps | Reference Description |
---|---|
Before disassembly | The outdoor unit is shown in its assembled state, ready for disassembly. |
1. Remove the PCB cover, valve cover, and top cover | Unfix one screw on the PCB cover to remove it. Then, unfix one screw on the valve cover to remove it. Finally, unfix screws on the top, left, and right plates to remove the top cover. |
2. Disassemble the fan guard and front panel | Remove grille screws from the front panel to detach the grille. Then, unfix screws on the front panel of the fan guard. Separate the ODU middle plate and base plate. Lift the front panel to remove it from the unit. |
3. Disassemble the left and right plate | Unfix screws on the right plate, electric box assembly, valve plate, and base plate to remove the right plate. Similarly, unfix screws on the left plate, base plate, and condenser plate to remove the left plate. |
4. Disassemble the axis fan blade | Unscrew the fan blade nut and remove the fan blade. |
5. Disassemble the electric box | Unfix screws on the electric box and motor supporter. Loosen the wiring clamp to remove the control box. |
6. Remove the noise cotton | Take out the noise cotton as shown in the picture. |
7. Disassemble the separate plate | Unfix the screw on the separate plate and unit, then remove it. |
8. Disassemble the 2-way and 3-way valve | Unfix screws on the valve plate and base. The 2-way and 3-way valve can be removed by welding. Note: Welding should only occur when the unit is free of gas. Exercise caution to prevent fire and injury. |
9. Disassemble the 4-way valve assembly | Remove the 4-way valve from the system by welding. Ensure no damage occurs to the compressor or nameplate during removal. |
10. Disassemble the compressor | Unscrew the nuts and remove the compressor. |
11. Remove the fan motor and fan supporter | Unfix screws on the fan motor and supporter, then remove the supporter from the base plate. Note: Be mindful of the motor wiring; it cannot be forced out. |
