Pioneer – Warranty

The Authorized Pioneer Distributor (Distributor) established in the country of first purchase of this product (as indicated in this Warranty Certificate) guarantees, based on the terms specified below, that this product is free from material and construction defects.

Warranty Terms:

1. The warranty is valid in all countries listed in this Certificate for a period of 1 year from the date of first purchase.
2. If, during the warranty period, this product does not function correctly, an Authorized Service Point (APS) will remedy the defect preventing the product's intended use, free of charge for labor and parts.
3. This warranty will only be honored with the original invoice, a legible receipt, and a correctly completed Warranty Card presented to the Authorized Service Point (APS). Pioneer reserves the right to refuse free warranty repair if the above documents are incomplete or illegible.
4. The Distributor may, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective product.
5. All warranty repairs are performed by an Authorized Service Point (APS). Costs of repairs performed by unauthorized service points will not be reimbursed. The warranty does not cover damage incurred during such repairs.
6. The warranty does not cover products used for commercial, business, or other purposes related to economic activity.
7. The warranty does not apply in cases other than material or construction defects, and specifically does not cover:
   • Periodic inspections, maintenance, and servicing, and replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear during operation;
   • Damage resulting from accidents, negligence, modifications, use of parts other than Pioneer parts, improper use, installation, and packaging;
   • Damage resulting from lightning strikes, flooding, fire, acts of war, civil unrest, incorrect voltage connection, improper ventilation, or any other events beyond the Distributor's control;
   • Speakers subjected to excessive power exceeding their rated capacity;
   • Products with altered, removed, missing, or illegally modified serial numbers;
   • Cases of non-compliance with the instructions in the User Manual, as well as warnings contained in this Instruction (Instructions) and other relevant documentation.
8. The Distributor is not liable for damage to audio/video data carriers or other equipment used with the product.
9. This warranty applies to any person who has legally acquired possession of the product during the warranty period.
10. The buyer may claim repair of damage solely on the basis of the warranty. Pioneer Corporation and Pioneer Europe NV are not responsible for the costs of repair or replacement, nor for any damage arising directly or indirectly from the product's malfunction.
11. This warranty applies exclusively to products sold in one of the countries listed in this document and remains in effect for products that have been exported to another listed country after purchase.
12. This warranty supplements statutory rights or other rights available to the buyer under applicable law. The warranty does not affect any additional warranty terms granted to the buyer in the country of purchase.
