About the Soundcore App
Downloading the Soundcore app allows you to access enhanced features such as heart rate monitoring, 3D audio, noise cancellation/ambient sound mode switching, HearID sound customization, control customization, and firmware updates.
If your earbuds cannot connect to the Soundcore app, please ensure you have the latest version installed from your app store.
Wearing the Earbuds
Select ear tips that best fit your ears. The Soundcore app offers a fit test to help you determine if the earbuds are worn correctly. Proper fit maximizes the noise cancellation effect.
Charging
- Place both earbuds back into the charging case and close it.
- If the earbuds and USB port have moisture or sweat, dry them completely before charging.
Use the provided USB-C cable for charging. The charging case also supports wireless charging (wireless charger sold separately). Align the charging case with the center of the wireless charger.
Fully charge both earbuds and the charging case before first use.
Power On & Pairing
The earbuds will automatically power on and enter Bluetooth pairing mode when you open the charging case. Select "Soundcore Liberty 4" from your device's Bluetooth settings to connect.
Multipoint Connection
This product supports connection to two devices simultaneously for seamless switching. To pair with another device, open the Soundcore app, go to "Multipoint Connection," and select "Connect New Device."
Manual Pairing
To manually pair with another device, place both earbuds in the charging case, keep the case open, and press and hold the case button for 3 seconds until the LED indicator on the case flashes white.
Controls
TWS Mode
- Play/Pause: Single press (Left/Right)
- Next Track: Triple press (Right)
- Previous Track: Triple press (Left)
- Answer/End Call: Double press (Left/Right)
- Reject Call: Triple press (Left/Right)
- Switch Modes (ANC/Ambient/Normal): Double press (Left/Right)
- Activate Voice Assistant: Triple press (Left/Right)
Mono Mode
- Play/Pause: Single press
- Next Track: Double press
- Previous Track: Triple press
The Soundcore app allows for customization of controls, audio settings, and mode switching.
Note: Noise cancellation mode is not available during calls.
3D Audio
Experience more immersive listening with 3D audio. Enable and customize 3D audio in the Soundcore app.
- Head Tracking: Sound moves with your head movements.
- Fixed: Sound stays in a fixed position.
Noise Cancelling
Switch between noise cancelling, ambient sound, and normal modes in the Soundcore app.
- Noise Cancelling: Adaptive or personalized noise cancellation.
- Ambient Sound: Hear conversations and important announcements while listening to music.
LDAC
To experience Hi-Res Audio with LDAC, you need a device running Android 8.0 or later. iOS devices do not support LDAC.
LDAC provides higher quality sound but may increase power consumption and reduce playback time. Ensure a stable Bluetooth connection in an environment with less interference.
- In the Soundcore app, click "Sound Effects."
- Enable "Hi-Res Audio."
If you are using Multipoint Connection with two devices, enabling LDAC will prompt you to turn off Multipoint Connection. Select "Confirm" to proceed.
Switching codecs may take up to 10 seconds. You may be prompted to update firmware if a new version is available.
Wearing Detection
Removing either earbud will automatically pause playback, and playback will resume when you put it back in. Answering a call is possible by wearing either earbud.
Power Off
Place both earbuds back into the charging case and close it to power off. The earbuds will automatically power off approximately 30 minutes after being removed from the case and not connected, but this can be adjusted in the Soundcore app.
Reset
If you experience issues like sound only in one earbud or connection problems, reset the earbuds. First, delete the pairing history from your Bluetooth device. Then, place both earbuds in the charging case, keep it open, and press and hold the case button for 10 seconds until the LED indicator flashes white three times.

Firmware Update
You will be notified when a new firmware version is available when the earbuds are connected to the app. Follow the app's instructions to update. Keep both earbuds in the charging case with the lid open during the update. Ensure both earbuds are charging and do not perform any operations during the update.
