APP Integration

Download the soundcore app to access features like ambient sound level adjustment, adaptive EQ settings, Spatial Audio, HearID sound, charging case controls, and firmware updates. If your earbuds cannot connect, try reinstalling the app or updating it to the latest version.

Overview

1. Ear Tip: M-size ear tips are attached at the time of purchase. Ensure a proper fit for optimal performance.

2. Earbud Control Area: Use the control area on the earbud stems to manage functions by sliding or squeezing.

3. Charging Contactors: Connects the earbud to the charging case.

4. USB-C Charging Port: For charging the case.

5. Charging Case Touch Bar: Control the Smart Display.

6. Smart Display: Provides information and controls.

Wearing

1. Fit: Try different ear tips to find the best fit for your ears. Gently place earbuds into your ear canal and rotate for a snug fit.

2. Fit Test: Use the soundcore app to perform a fit test for optimal active noise cancelling performance.

Cleaning: Regularly clean earbuds with a cotton swab slightly moistened with rubbing alcohol to maintain sound quality. Ensure the metal mesh filter is completely dry before use.

Powering On & Pairing

Power On: Slide open the charging case. Earbuds automatically power on and enter pairing mode.

Google Fast Pair: For Android devices (6.0+), enjoy instant pairing.

Manual Pairing: Select "soundcore Liberty 4 Pro" from your device's Bluetooth list. The Bluetooth icon on the Smart Display will indicate connection.

Automatic Reconnection: Once connected, earbuds will automatically reconnect when the charging case is opened, provided pairing history is not deleted.

Charging

Earbuds: Place earbuds in the charging case. Ensure earbuds and port are dry.

Charging Case: Connect the case via USB-C cable or place on a wireless charger.

Charging Times: Case fully charges in 2.5 hours (cable) or 3.5 hours (wireless). A 5-minute earbud charge provides 4 hours of playtime.

Low Case Battery: Charging stops if the case battery drops below 20%.

Touch Bar & Smart Display Controls

Slide left or right on the touch bar to adjust ambient sound levels (1-10) or access functions.

Double-tap the touch bar to confirm selections or return to the menu.

Customization: Add more functions to the charging case menu via the soundcore app.

Pairing/Reset: Tap and hold the touch bar for 5 seconds to access Bluetooth pairing mode or reset the earbuds.

Charging Case Settings (via Soundcore App)

Customize functions for the charging case menu, including:

• Ambient Sound: Adjust levels for optimal listening.
• Spatial Audio: Experience immersive 3D sound that adapts to head movements.
• Atmospheric: Monitor atmospheric pressure and adjust noise cancelling.
• Find Device: Locate misplaced earbuds via sound alerts.
• Remote Camera: Control your phone's camera remotely.

Dual Connections

Enable: Dual Connections is enabled by default. Connect a second device by pinching the control area on both earbud stems for 3 seconds until a pairing prompt is heard.

Disable: Turn off Dual Connections in the soundcore app under Settings.

Controls

Controls can be customized in the soundcore app.

Spatial Audio

Spatial Audio creates an immersive listening experience. Choose from four modes in the soundcore app:

• Music Mode: Head Tracking (surround sound follows head movement) or Fixed (Spatial Audio without head tracking).
• Podcast Mode: Optimized for clear vocal delivery.
• Movie Mode: Enhances cinematic experience with immersive audio.
• Game Mode: Provides precise audio cues for gaming.

Ambient Sound

Switch between Normal, ANC (levels 6-10), and Transparency (levels 1-5) modes via the touch bar or the soundcore app.

• ANC: Adapts noise cancellation to your ears and environment.
• Normal: Balanced sound without noise cancellation.
• Transparency: Stay aware of your surroundings.

Easy Chat

When activated, Easy Chat automatically lowers music volume and enables Transparency mode for conversations without removing earbuds. This feature is available in ANC mode and can be configured in the soundcore app (5, 10, or 15-second delay before resuming original settings).

LDAC

Enable LDAC: Select "Sound Mode" then "Preferred audio quality" in the soundcore app. LDAC provides higher audio quality but increases power consumption and may affect connection stability.

Requirements: Use devices with Android 8.0 or later. LDAC and multipoint connection cannot be used simultaneously.

Note: Switching audio codecs takes about 10 seconds. Firmware updates may be required.

Wearing Detection

Playback automatically pauses when an earbud is removed and resumes when worn. Wearing either earbud answers an incoming call.

Powering Off

Return both earbuds to the charging case and close it to power off.

Earbuds automatically power off after 30 minutes of inactivity if not connected to a device (duration adjustable in the app).

Manual Pairing & Reset

Bluetooth Pairing: Tap and hold the touch bar for 5 seconds, then slide to choose "Bluetooth Pairing" and double-tap to initiate.

Reset: Tap and hold the touch bar for 5 seconds, then slide to choose "Reset" and double-tap to initiate. Keep the case open until the process is complete. A "Reset Successful" notification will appear.

Firmware Update

The app will notify you of new firmware versions for earbuds or the charging case. Ensure earbuds are in the case, the case remains open, and battery levels are above 20% during the update process.
