Soundcore Liberty 4 NC User Manual
Getting Started
Welcome to the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC user manual. This guide provides instructions on how to use your new wireless earbuds.
APP Setup
Download the Soundcore app to maximize your earbuds' features, including 3D surround sound, ambient sound modes, HearID sound, and gaming mode. The app also provides firmware updates.
If your earbuds cannot connect to the Soundcore app, reinstall the app or update it to the latest version from your mobile device's app store.
Charging
- Tear off the insulation sticker on the earbuds before the first use.
- Place the earbuds into the charging case and close it. Ensure earbuds and the USB-C charging port are completely dry before charging.
- Connect the charging case to a power adapter using a certified USB-C charging cable. For wireless charging, place the charging case in the center of the wireless charger.
Note: The first use should be preceded by a full charge of the earbuds and charging case.
Power On & Pairing
Open the charging case. The earbuds will power on and automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
On your device's Bluetooth list, select "Soundcore Liberty 4 NC" to connect for the first time.
Dual Connections
There are two ways to connect your earbuds to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously:
- Option A: To pair with another device, wear the earbuds, then press and hold the touchpads on both earbuds simultaneously for 3 seconds.
- Option B: In the Soundcore app, go to Settings and select "Dual Connections" > "Connect New Device".
Manual Pairing
To manually enter Bluetooth pairing mode, place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the case open. Press and hold the charging case button until the LED indicators flash white rapidly.

Ambient Sound
You can select noise cancellation, normal, or transparency mode in the Soundcore app.
- Adaptive ANC: Optimizes noise cancellation to your ears and surroundings.
- Transparency: Allows you to stay aware of your surroundings while listening to music.
LDAC
Use Android 8.0 or later devices to experience LDAC quality sound. LDAC offers superior sound quality but increases power consumption and reduces playback time. Enable LDAC in a low-interference environment for a stable Bluetooth connection.
- Go to Settings in the Soundcore app.
- Click on "Sound Mode".
- Select "Preferred audio quality" to switch to the LDAC codec.
Note: You will be notified if the earbuds do not support LDAC when connected to two devices. Select "Turn On" to continue. Audio codec changes may take approximately 10 seconds. You may be prompted to update the earbud firmware if available.
Wear Detection
Playback will automatically pause when you remove an earbud and resume when you put it back in. Wearing one earbud will automatically answer an incoming call.
Power Off
Place the earbuds back into the charging case and close it to power them off. The earbuds will turn off automatically after 30 minutes if they are not connected. The duration can be set in the Soundcore app.
Reset
If your earbuds have issues pairing with each other or other devices, perform a reset. First, clear the Bluetooth pairing history from your device. Place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the case open. Press and hold the charging case button for 10 seconds until the LED indicators flash white three times.

The LED indicators on the earbuds and charging case provide information about battery status and connection.
