Your guide to maximizing the features of your Soundcore Liberty 4 NC earbuds.
Soundcore App
Download the Soundcore app to fully utilize your earbuds with 3D spatial audio, ambient sound modes, HearID sound, gaming mode, firmware updates, and more. If your earbuds cannot connect to the Soundcore app, please reinstall the app or update it to the latest version from your mobile app store.

Wearing
Visuals showing different ear tip sizes (XS, S, M, L, XL) and an illustration of how to insert the earbuds into the ear for a secure fit.
Select ear tips that best fit your ears and perform the fit test in the Soundcore app to ensure optimal ANC performance. Dust, earwax, or other debris can accumulate in the earbuds. To maintain optimal sound quality, regularly clean the earbuds using a cotton swab slightly dampened with spirit, gently wiping the metal mesh filter beneath the rubber ear tip. Ensure the alcohol on the metal mesh filter dries completely.
Charging
Diagrams illustrating the charging process: 1. Removing protective stickers from the earbuds before first use. 2. Placing earbuds into the charging case and closing it. 3. Connecting the charging case to a power source via a certified USB-C charging cable or placing it on a wireless charger. Ensure earbuds and the USB-C charging port are completely dry before charging. Charge both the earbuds and the charging case fully before first use.
LED indicators on the case show battery status during charging: short pulsing red for less than 20%, short pulsing white for 20%-60%, long pulsing white for 60%-99%, and solid white for 100% (after 5 minutes). Charging times are indicated: 5 minutes of charging provides 100% battery, 3 hours for a full charge, and 10 minutes of charging provides 4 hours of playback.
Power On & Pairing
Open the charging case, and the earbuds will automatically power on and enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Select "soundcore Liberty 4 NC" from your device's Bluetooth list when connecting for the first time.
To manually enter Bluetooth pairing mode, place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the case open. Press and hold the charging case button for 3 seconds until the LED indicators on the case flash white rapidly.
Dual Connections
There are two ways to connect your earbuds to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously:
- Option A: To pair with another device, wear the earbuds, then press and hold the touch surface on both earbuds for 3 seconds.
- Option B: In the Soundcore app, go to Settings, then select "Dual Connections" > "Connect New Device".
Note: When LDAC is enabled, dual connection is disabled.

Ambient Sound
You can select noise cancellation, normal, or transparency mode within the Soundcore app.
- Adaptive ANC: Optimizes noise cancellation by adapting it to your ears and surroundings.
- Transparency: Stay aware of your surroundings while listening to music.

LDAC
Use with devices running Android 8.0 or later to enjoy LDAC quality audio. LDAC provides higher quality audio, increases power consumption, and reduces playback time. Enable LDAC in low-interference environments for a stable Bluetooth connection.
To enable LDAC:
- Go to Settings in the Soundcore app.
- Tap "Sound Mode".
- Select "Preferred audio quality" to switch to the LDAC codec.
- You will be notified that the earbuds do not support LDAC when connected to two devices. Select "Turn On" to proceed.
- Switching audio codecs takes approximately 10 seconds. You may be prompted to update your earbuds' firmware if an update is available.

Wearing Detection
Diagrams illustrating "Wearing Detection". When an earbud is removed, playback automatically pauses. When worn again, playback resumes. Wearing either earbud automatically answers an incoming call.
Power Off
To power off, place the earbuds in the charging case and close it. The earbuds will automatically power off after 30 minutes if they are not connected. The duration can be set in the Soundcore app.
Reset
Reset the earbuds if they have issues pairing with each other or with other devices. First, delete the pairing history from your Bluetooth device. Place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the case open. Press and hold the charging case button for 10 seconds until the LED indicators flash white three times.
