1. Product Description

The RCW-800W series is an IoT recorder that communicates via a WiFi network for real-time monitoring, recording, alarming, and data uploading of ambient temperature and humidity. It comprises a temperature/humidity sensor and a host instrument, transmitting measurements directly to the Elitech cold cloud through Wi-Fi. Data can be accessed and analyzed anytime, anywhere via mobile phones and PCs with internet access. Alarms can be sent via SMS, email, voice, and other methods when limits are exceeded.

6. Instructions

Charge

Connect the device to a power adapter via a USB cable. The charging indicator light will remain on during charging, and the status bar will display the charging icon [⚡].

Button Functions

• Home button: Short press to switch to the home page.
• Left key: Short press to page forward.
• Right key: Short press to page backward.
• Celsius/Fahrenheit conversion key: Press and hold for 3 seconds to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit units.
• Monitoring start/stop button: Long press for 3 seconds to start/stop monitoring and data recording. The lower left corner will display the status (monitoring/not monitoring).
• Buzzer on/off key: Long press for 3 seconds to turn the buzzer function on or off. A short press during an alarm state will turn off the current buzzer alarm.

7. APP Operation Instructions

Download and Install APP

Please scan the QR codes (available on the physical document) to download the "Elitech iCold" app for Android or iOS.

Account Registration and Login

Open the Elitech iCold app. In the login interface (Figure 1), enter verification information and click "Login". If you haven't registered, click "Register Now" and follow the prompts (Figure 2) to complete registration.

WiFi Distribution Network

1. Connect your phone to the WiFi network and open the Elitech iCold app.
2. Short press the reset button on the device's back to enter WiFi network configuration mode. The LCD status bar icon will indicate the mode (e.g., [WiFi Symbol] for WiFi, [Bluetooth Symbol] for Bluetooth).
3. Follow these steps to configure WiFi:
   1. Open the APP and click the [Add Icon] (usually a '+').
   2. Click the [Scan Icon] to scan the QR code on the device's back or manually enter the device GUID.
   3. Edit the device name, select the time zone, and click "Add" to successfully add the device.
   4. Click "Confirm" to start configuring WiFi.
   5. Enter the WiFi password in the APP.
   6. Click "Confirm" to complete WiFi configuration.
4. If WiFi configuration fails, repeat steps 1-3.
5. To reconfigure WiFi, follow steps 1-2. Then, open "Device Information" in the app, click the [Edit Icon], and follow step 3 (sub-steps 4-6) to complete the configuration.

Bluetooth Distribution Network

1. Connect your phone to the WiFi network and open the Elitech iCold app and Bluetooth.
2. Short press the reset button on the device's back to switch to Bluetooth network configuration mode. The LCD status bar icon will indicate the mode.
3. Refer to the WiFi network steps for network configuration. The Bluetooth network supports static IP address settings.
   • Turn on the Bluetooth network.
   • Obtain IP address automatically (DHCP).
   • Alternatively, turn off automatic IP acquisition and manually enter IP address, subnet mask, gateway address, and DNS server address.
   • Enter the WiFi password in the APP.

9. Recharge

After adding the device for the first time, you can receive free SMS, data, and premium service trials. Recharge the device after the trial service expires. For detailed recharge information, refer to the "Elitech Cold Cloud Value-added Service Recharge Guide" within the APP.
