1. Product Description

The RCW-800W series is an IoT recorder that communicates via a Wi-Fi network. It is designed for real-time monitoring, recording, alarming, and data uploading of ambient temperature and humidity. The recorder consists of a temperature/humidity sensor and a host instrument. It transmits measured values directly to the Elitech cold cloud platform through the Wi-Fi network. Data can be accessed and analyzed anytime, anywhere via mobile phones and PCs with internet access. The device can send timely alarms via SMS, email, or voice when limits are exceeded.

6. Instructions

Charge

Connect the device to a power adapter using a USB cable. The charging indicator light will remain on while charging, and the charging icon will appear on the status bar.

Buttons

• Home button: Short press to switch to the home page.
• Left key: Short press to page forward through interfaces.
• Right key: Short press to page backward through interfaces.
• Celsius/Fahrenheit conversion key: Press and hold for 3 seconds to switch temperature units between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
• Monitoring start/stop button: Long press for 3 seconds to start or stop monitoring and data recording. The status (monitoring/not monitoring) is displayed in the lower-left corner.
• Buzzer on/off key: Long press for 3 seconds to toggle the buzzer function. A short press in an alarm state silences the current buzzer alarm.

Interface Configuration

The device allows configuration of temperature and humidity alarm limits. The interface displays settings such as 'Temp1 Alarm Upper Limit', 'Temp1 Alarm Lower Limit', 'Humi2 Alarm Upper Limit', and 'Humi2 Alarm Lower Limit'.

System Information Interface

This interface displays system details including IP address, Wi-Fi MAC address, ID number, software version, and Wi-Fi configuration status.

7. APP Operation Instructions

1. Download and Install APP

Scan the provided QR code to download the "Elitech iCold" app for Android or iOS.

2. Account Registration and Login

Open the Elitech iCold app. On the login interface, enter your credentials and tap "Login". If you don't have an account, tap "Register Now" and follow the prompts to create one.

3. Wi-Fi Distribution Network Setup

1. Connect your phone to the Wi-Fi network and open the Elitech iCold app.
2. Short press the reset button on the back of the device to enter Wi-Fi network configuration mode. The LCD status bar icon will indicate the mode.
3. Follow the in-app steps to configure Wi-Fi. This involves clicking the '+' icon, scanning the device's QR code (or manually entering the GUID), and entering Wi-Fi credentials. A successful configuration is indicated by a specific icon on the device's screen.
4. If configuration fails, repeat the steps. To reconfigure Wi-Fi, access "Device Information" in the app and click the relevant icon.

4. Bluetooth Distribution Network Setup

1. Connect your phone to the Wi-Fi network, open the Elitech iCold app, and ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
2. Short press the reset button on the back of the device to switch to Bluetooth network configuration mode. The LCD status bar icon will indicate the mode.
3. Refer to the Wi-Fi network setup for general steps. Bluetooth network setup supports static IP address configuration.
4. Bluetooth Network Options:
   • Turn on Bluetooth network.
   • Obtain IP address automatically (DHCP).
   • Manually enter IP address, subnet mask, gateway address, and DNS server address.
   • Enter the Wi-Fi password in the app.

8. Elitech iCloud Platform

For advanced features and data management, log in to the Elitech iCloud platform at www.new.i-elitech.com.

9. Recharge

Upon initial device addition, users receive a trial period for SMS, data, and premium services. Recharge is required after the trial expires. Refer to the "Elitech Cold Cloud Value-added Service Recharge Guide" within the app for detailed recharge instructions.
