Cable Connection
Precautions:
- Electrical cables must be installed by a qualified person, following local regulations.
- Connect the power supply from the main supply after installation.
- Separate and tidy signal or power cables using provided cable clamps.
- Keep unused cable glands and bushings in factory condition to maintain IP rating and prevent moisture ingress.
- Cable entry direction for bushings must be from outside to inside.
- The two-hole bushings on the front are not compatible with the Cap Installer; use the cut-and-connect method instead.
Cable Entry Details:
- M25 drill-out points are available.
- The diameter of cables passing through M16 cable glands must be ø4.5 to 10 mm (0.18" to 0.4").
- When using the provided cable adapter, the passing cable diameter must be ø2 to 6 mm (0.08" to 0.24").
- M20 cable bushings are available for ø5 to 6.5mm (0.2" to 0.26").
Cap Installer Guide:
- ⚠️ Do not route the bushing with the cable from inside to outside; no quality guarantee is provided for this method.
- Ensure the bushing is correctly installed inside the product.
- Diagrams show correct (✔️) and incorrect (❌) cable routing through bushings, with checkmarks and crosses indicating proper installation.
