Defrosting
HOW TO DEFROST: (Refer to page 14 for details)
- Press the front defrost button ?️.
- Set to warmest temperature setting ?️.

Windshield Wiper / Washer

- To activate wipers, move the switch down to one of the three positions: ? (MIST), ? (OFF), ⏳ (INT), ? (LO), ? (HI).
- To adjust "INT" speed, move the switch.
- To spray washer fluid, pull the lever toward you ?.
- Push lever up for a single wiper pass ?.
Driver's Main Controls

- Folding Mirrors: Press to fold/unfold mirrors. Use smart key lock/unlock button in AUTO position.
- Outer Side View Mirror: Press L or R button, then use directional switch to adjust.
- Power Window Lock Button: Disables rear passenger window switches.
- Door Lock: Locks/unlocks all doors.
- Window Switches: For front and rear doors.
Seat Adjustment

High Voltage Battery Cooling Duct

Located at the bottom center of the rear seats. Do not obstruct the air intake.
Liftgate Opening
(Refer to page 03 for details)
- Press to open (Smart key within range).
- Press and hold to unlock tailgate.
Charging Door
(Refer to page 04 for details)
- Push the charging door open button.
- After recharging, install the bottom inlet cover before the upper inlet cover. Close door until latched.
- Emergency Opening: Pull the emergency cable.
- Plug Unlock: Press to unlock the plug when fully charged.
- Charge Timer Activation: Press to turn off scheduled charge timer.
Charge Indicator (on dash):
- Green Light ON: Charging in progress ?
- Green Light OFF: Charging complete ?
- Green Light Blinking: Scheduled charge time programmed, not currently charging ?
- Red Light Blinking: Charging malfunction ? (Visit Hyundai dealership)
Headlights
(Refer to page 05 for details)
- Functions: Headlights ?, Parking lights ?️, Auto headlights ?, All lights Off ?.
- Headlight Delay: May stay on for 15 seconds after exiting/locking. Press lock button twice to turn off.
- Turn Signals & Lane Change Signals
- High Beam / Smart High Beam: Push lever forward for Auto High Beam, push again to disengage. Pull lever towards you to turn off high beam.
Dynamic Bending Light (DBL)
(Refer to page 06 for details)
DBL uses steering angle and vehicle speed to widen field of vision by swiveling headlamps. Turn ON by setting knob to AUTO when vehicle is in ready mode ?. Turn OFF by returning knob to former position.
Wipers and Washer

- Wiper Speeds: MIST ?, OFF ?, INT ⏳, LO ?, HI ?.
- Intermittent Wipe Time Adjustment: Move speed control switch.
- Windshield Washer: Pull lever towards you ? to spray fluid and run wipers.

Main Indicators in Cluster for Electric Vehicle

- Ready Indicator: Vehicle is ready to drive ✅. If it goes off or blinks, consult a dealer.
- Service Warning Light: Indicates a problem with the electric vehicle control system. Consult a dealer.
- Power Down Warning Light: Vehicle power may be limited for safety. Charge the battery immediately.
- Charging Cable Indicator: Shows charging status. Illuminates red when a cable is connected. Approximate charge time displays on dash.
- High Voltage Battery Low Level Warning Light: Battery level is low. Charge immediately.
Note on DC Quick Charge: Sessions are time-limited and may not reach 100% SOC, unlike Level-1/2 chargers.
Vehicle Power Gauge

- ECO: Shows energy consumption rate during normal driving.
- POWER: Shows energy consumption rate when driving uphill or accelerating.
- CHARGE: Shows battery charging status via regenerative brakes (decelerating/downhill).
High Voltage Battery SOC (State of Charge) Gauge
(Refer to page 10 for details)
Shows the high voltage battery's charge status. "L(Low)" ⬇️ indicates low energy; "H(High)" ⬆️ indicates fully charged. When 2-3 bars remain (near "L"), a warning light illuminates, and the vehicle can drive an estimated 12-18 miles. Charging is required.

LCD Display Control

Controls Type A and Type B displays:
- ?: MODE button for changing modes.
- ➡️: MOVE switch for changing items.
- ✅: SELECT / RESET button for setting or resetting.

Instrument Panel Illumination

Press the illumination control button to adjust the instrument cluster brightness.
Aux. Battery Saver+
(Refer to page 12 for details)
Monitors the 12V auxiliary battery. If low, the main high voltage battery charges it. Default is ON; can be cancelled via 'User Settings → Other Features → Aux. Battery Saver+'. Activation blinks the third Charging Indicator Lamp.
Note: Do not touch high voltage electric wires or connectors when the function is active.
Electric Vehicle System Modes

Access the EV menu via the EV icon on the AVN screen or EV button on the HVAC panel.
- Range: Displays EV distance based on current battery charge.
- Nearby Stations: Searches for electric charging stations.
- Energy Information: Displays battery info and electricity use.
- Drive Mode Settings: Adjust Climate Control, Coast Energy Regeneration, and Maximum Speed Limit.
- ECO Driving: Shows ECO Level and history.
- Charging/Climate Settings: Set departure time and climate temperature for automatic completion before departure.
- EV Settings: Change charging current settings (Type B).

- Set fan speed to highest.
Note: Keep interior windshield clean for better visibility. Use outside (fresh) air when possible.
Automatic Heating / Air Conditioning

- Press AUTO button ?.
- Set desired temperature.
Automatically controls modes, fan speeds, air intake, and AC.
System OFF
(Refer to page 16 for details)
Pressing the OFF button ? turns off the system. Blower stops, outside air is selected, and vented air is at the last set temperature.
Mode Selection

Changes the direction of airflow.
EV Mode

Push the EV button ⚡ to enter the EV menu (e.g., Nearby Stations, Energy Information, Drive Mode, ECO driving).

Press HEAT button ? to turn heater ON; press again to turn OFF.

With Audio: Press SETUP → Date/Time → Select items. Supports 24-hour format and Daylight Saving Time (DST).
With Navigation: Press SETUP → Clock → Select items. GPS time displays GNSS time. Supports DST and 24-hour format.
Radio Mode

Display Audio:
- Press POWER button ⚡ to turn radio ON.
- Tuning/Listening: Press BAND button ? to select FM/AM/SiriusXM ?. Rotate TUNE knob to select channel.
- Note: Clear southern sky view aids SiriusXM reception.
- Setting Preset Memory Buttons: Press and hold a preset button until beep to store current channel.
- Adjusting Sound Control: Press SETUP → SOUND button to access settings. Use on-screen arrows to adjust.
Navigation System

Basic Features on Map Screen:
- 1 Place button: Destination entry screen, POI, or Address entry.
- 2 Home button: Return to Home screen.
- 3 Map button: Change map view mode.
- 4 NAV volume button: Adjust volume.

- 6 Map scale display: Set zoom level automatically.
- 7 Zoom out button: Zoom map out.

Press [NAV] on map screen, then use [Destination] menu.
- 1 Address: Set destination by address.
- 2 Previous destinations: Select from past entries.
- 3 Local search: Uses Google Local Search.
- 4 POI categories: Select desired sub-category.
- 5 Charging stations: Select charging station destinations.
- 6 Restaurants: Lists available restaurants nearby.
- 7 Emergency: Select emergency facility destinations.
- 8 Address Book: Search by address book entries.
- 9 Coordinates: Enter latitude and longitude for destination.
AUX, USB and iPod® Port

Use the input jack to connect external audio devices and listen through the vehicle's audio system. iPod® is a trademark of Apple, Inc.
Driving Features
Automatic with Push Button Drive Selector

Select gear positions by pressing the shift button (P, R, N, D). Gear position displays in instrument cluster. Always depress brake pedal while shifting.
Regenerative Brake Level Control Paddles
(Refer to page 22 for details)
Adjusts regenerative braking rate (0-3) during deceleration/braking.
- Left paddle ⬆️: Increases regenerative braking and deceleration.
- Right paddle ⬇️: Decreases regenerative braking and deceleration.
Paddles do not operate when pulled simultaneously or when Cruise Control is active.
Cruise Control / Smart Cruise Control

Allows programming vehicle to maintain constant speed.
- 1: Turn On/Off cruise control.
- 2: Toggle switch UP to Resume or Increase speed.
- 3: Toggle switch DOWN to Set or Decrease speed.
- 4: Cancel Cruise Control.
Setting Vehicle Distance (Smart Cruise Control only): Press button to set vehicle-to-vehicle distance. Changes as follows: Distance 4 → Distance 3 → Distance 1 → Distance 2.
Adjusting Speed: Quick toggle up/down changes speed by 1 mph; holding changes by 10 mph.
To Cancel: Press CANCEL button or depress brake pedal.
Electronic Parking Brake (EPB)

- Applying: Stop vehicle, then pull up EPB switch.
- Releasing: Press EPB switch while depressing brake pedal.
- Automatic Releasing: When shifted to P or N, depress brake pedal and shift out of P/N to R or D.
Note: Emergency braking is possible by pulling up and holding the EPB switch.

Connecting Your Phone:
On the radio:
- Push SETUP button.
- Select Bluetooth.
- Select Bluetooth Connection.
- Select Add New.
In your phone's Bluetooth settings:
- Select the <Vehicle Name> on your phone.
- Enter passkey from radio or accept authorization pop-up.
Switching Between Paired Phones:
Using Voice Command: Say "Change Bluetooth device".
On the radio:
- Push SETUP button.
- Select Bluetooth.
- Select Bluetooth Connection.
- Select Connect next to the desired phone.
