INSTALLATION AND SETUP MANUAL

1. Introduction

The MEET ME APP is an application that allows users to receive calls from MEET panels and guard units when a monitor is installed in the house and at least one panel is present in the installation. The MEET installation requires an Internet connection. The app is available for free on Google Play and Apple Store; check availability in your region. It requires a mobile phone compatible with Android version 8 or higher, or Apple version 13 or higher. Username and password details are found on a label on each MEET monitor.

2. Installation

A free user account required by the APP is included on the monitors via a label. This account enables the APP to connect with the monitor. On the monitor, the account indicated on the label will be added as an extension to divert calls.

2.1 Installation Steps

STEP 1: Monitor label and Panel label

Locate the MEET label on the monitor and the MEET label on the panel.

Example MONITOR label:

Username: 0000018
Password: ABC123GH

Example PANEL label:

Username: 0065478
Password: CNM8HI2V

STEP 2: PANEL & Guard Unit web server configuration

Configure the call divert server in the cloud correctly on each panel. Find the user account label on the plate and connect to the panel's web server.

For call forwarding to the mobile phone, the MEET installation must be connected to the Internet. The GENERAL and NETWORK SETTINGS screens require specific configurations for proper operation. Other settings should match those programmed during the initial MEET installation. Refer to the MEET system manuals for details.

a) Select the NETWORK CONFIGURATION option

On the panel's NETWORK CONFIGURATION screen, ensure the GATEWAY option is set to the IP address of the router with Internet access. Other options should retain their initial programmed values.

Click and select NETWORK CONFIGURATION. Set the following parameters:

Press SAVE.

b) Select the GENERAL option

Click and select GENERAL. Set the following parameter:

Press SAVE.

UI Description: The GENERAL SETTINGS screen displays fields for DEVICE NO., TYPE, LANGUAGE, INFORMATION, PANEL VOLUME, VIDEO RESOLUTION, SIP DIVERT MODE (set to PARALLEL), DATE FORMAT, DATE, TIME, and TIME ZONE, with a SAVE button.

c) Select the SIP option

Click and select SIP. Set the following parameters:

Press SAVE.

UI Description: The SIP SETTINGS screen displays options to ENABLE SIP, SIP SERVER (sip:sip.fermax.com), DOMAIN (sip.fermax.com), OUTBOUND (sip:sip.fermax.com), STUN IP (0), STUN PORT (5060), H.264 (102), SIP USER (e.g., 0065478), SIP PASS (e.g., CNM8HI2V), CONVERSATION (120s), and RING TIME (35s), with a SAVE button. An example shows Username: 0065478, Password: CNM8HI2V.

Important Note: This screen configuration is for a building outdoor panel. A 1-Line panel will have a corresponding screen.

STEP 3: MONITOR web server configuration

Configure the call forwarding server in the cloud on the home monitor. If multiple monitors are in the house, configure only the main one (MONITOR: 0). This setup is in the GENERAL option.

Find the monitor label with the account to be used and connect to the monitor's web server.

a) Select the NETWORK CONFIGURATION option

Click and select NETWORK CONFIGURATION. Set the following parameters:

Press SAVE.

b) Select the ADVANCED option

Click and select ADVANCED. Set the following parameters:

Press SAVE.

UI Description: The ADVANCED SETTINGS screen displays SIP EXT (set to 1), URL (e.g., sip:0000018@sip.fermax.com), AUTO ANSWER, ONU(GPON), DTMF UNLOCK, DTMF KEY (#), NUMBER OF DOORLOCKS (2), and NUMBER OF CAMERAS (4), with a SAVE button. An example monitor label shows Username: 0000018, Password: ABC123GH, and website meet.fermax.com.

STEP 4: Download and install the APP

Download and install the APP.

  1. In Google Play or Apple Store, search for and download FERMAX MEET ME.
  2. Register your account with your email and password by clicking on ‘Sign me up’.

App Login Screen Description: The app login screen shows the FERMAX MEET ME logo, fields for Email and Password, Login and Sign up buttons, and a Forgot Password link.

Follow the in-app process to add your home using the credentials from your monitor or diversion license.
