This manual corresponds to FERMAX MARINE MEET PANEL firmware version V02.10.
1 Product Introduction
1.1 Overview
The Fermax MEET Marine Panel is a sophisticated entry panel with the following components:
- Speaker
- High definition camera (1.2 Megapixels) with lighting for night vision using LEDs
- 4.3" TFT display
- Keyboard
- Microphone
- Mifare reader

1.2 Panel Display Screen
The panel display shows network status, date, and time. A typical display shows:

2 Functions Introduction
The MEET Marine Panel offers a range of functions:
- Call apartment
- Call guard unit (Concierge)
- Call volume settings
- Door opening and relay delay settings
- Exit button connector
- Voice Synthesizer
- Door opened, door forced alarm, and tamper alarm notifications
- Lift control (if installed)
- PIN Access Code functionality
- Mifare reader for access control
- Alarm management via access control
- Face Recognition capability
- Electronic Directory
- Fire Alarm integration for lock release
2.1 Call Apartment
2.1.1 Enter Apartment Number
Visitors can enter the apartment number followed by a confirmation button (e.g., [Call]
) to initiate a call. For example, to call apartment 201, enter '201' and press [Call]
.

and [Call]

2.1.2 Call Apartment Via Directory (If enabled)
To call via the directory, access the menu, select the directory icon, press [B]
, search for the desired apartment, and press [Call]
.

and [Call]

2.2 Call Guard Unit
2.2.1 Dial Number To Call
The guard unit can be called by entering its number (e.g., 9901) followed by the [Call]
button. This can be done from any panel.

2.2.1 Dial Bell To Call
The guard unit can also be called by entering its number and initiating the call.
Screen display shows "Calling" with icons representing the guard unit and a building.
2.3 Access Code
Access the PIN code function by pressing [A0]
or navigating through the menu. Enter the access code and confirm with [B]
. A correct code will unlock the door. This function can be enabled or disabled via the panel's web interface.
The access code length can be up to 6 digits.
2.4 Face Recognition
Enable face recognition by pressing [A]
twice or accessing the menu. The panel's camera will scan for faces. If a recognized face is authorized, the door will unlock. Face data is managed through the MEET management software, supporting up to 6000 faces.
2.5 Mifare Reader
Residents can gain access by presenting their authorized Mifare card. The card data must be added via the management software, which supports up to 100,000 Mifare cards.
2.6 Fire Alarm
In the event of a fire alarm, the panel will display a "Fire Alarm" prompt and automatically release all locks within the block to facilitate safe evacuation.
2.7 About
To view device information, enter code 9999 followed by [B]
. The information displayed includes the device name, firmware version, device details, serial number, MAC address, and IP address.
Screen display shows "Enter number 9999" with [Cancel]
and [Call]
options. Another screen displays detailed device information including firmware, serial number, MAC, and IP address.
3 Configuration via Web Server
The panel features an integrated web server for parameter configuration, accessible via the panel's IP address. A username and password prompt will appear upon connection.
Default Login:
- IP: 10.1.0.1
- Username: admin
- Password: 123456
3.1 Device Information
The web interface displays the following device information:
- Device name
- Firmware version
- Device info
- Serial number
- MAC address
- IP address
The web interface includes a navigation menu (DEVICE, GENERAL, NETWORK, ACCESS, FACIAL RECOG., IP CAMERA, SIP, SIP TRUNK, SIP CALL, ADVANCED, PINCODE, QR ACCESS, RESET, LOG OUT) and a section displaying device details.
3.2 General Settings
These settings configure the panel type, choosing between a General Entrance Panel or a Block Panel.
3.2.1 General Entrance Panel
- DEVICE NO.: General entrance panel number (1-9000).
- TYPE: Select 'G.E.PANEL' for General Entrance. Allows communication with all devices in the installation.
- LANGUAGE: Select desired language from dropdown (default ENGLISH). Webpage refresh required after change.
- INFORMATION: Sets prompt information (e.g., '9901 GUARD UNIT', range 9901-9998). Default is 9901. Can be modified based on the Guard Unit.
- PANEL VOLUME: Select volume level from 1 to 5 (default 4).
- DOOR OPEN VOICE: Enable or disable voice prompt for door opening (default enabled).
- VIDEO RESOLUTION: Default value 640x480 is typically used.
- SIP DIVERT MODE: (Feature availability may vary).
- PARALLEL CALL: Monitor and call divert APP ring simultaneously. The first to answer stops the other.
- SEQUENTIAL CALL: Monitor rings for ~30s, then call divert APP rings if no answer.
- DATE FORMAT: Set the date format.
- DATE: Set the panel's date.
- TIME: Set the panel's time.
- TIME ZONE: Set the panel's time zone.
- DST: Enable daylight saving time.
Settings can be saved locally. If no management software is used, date, time, and time zone must be set manually. With management software or internet access, date and time synchronize automatically.
NOTE: Date and time are not retained after power loss; time zone and date format are saved.
3.2.2 Block Panel
- BLOCK: Block number (001-999, default 1).
- DEVICE NO.: Panel number within the block (01-99, default 1).
- TYPE: Select 'BLOCK PANEL' for block entrance. Allows communication with devices on the same block.
- LANGUAGE: Select desired language (default ENGLISH). Webpage refresh required.
- INFORMATION: Sets prompt information (e.g., '9901 GUARD UNIT', range 9901-9998). Default is 9901.
- PANEL VOLUME: Select volume level from 1 to 5 (default 4).
- DOOR OPEN VOICE: Enable or disable voice prompt (default enabled).
- VIDEO RESOLUTION: Default value 640x480 is typically used.
- SIP DIVERT MODE: (Feature availability may vary).
- PARALLEL CALL: Monitor and call divert APP ring simultaneously.

3.3 Network Settings
MEET panels allow IP range configuration for easier network management. The panel operates in static mode, requiring a unique IP address for each device on the LAN to prevent conflicts.
- IP: Panel IP address (default 10.1.0.1).
- MASK: Subnet mask (default 255.0.0.0).
- GATEWAY: Default gateway (default 10.254.0.1).
- DNS: DNS server (default 8.8.8.8).
- SOFTWARE IP: IP address of the PC running MEET management software (default 10.0.0.200).
- SW. PIN: PIN code for registering the panel in MEET management software.
The web interface shows the Network Settings form with fields for IP, MASK, GATEWAY, DNS, SOFTWARE IP, and SW. PIN.
3.4 Access
Configure access-related parameters:
- DOOR RELAY TIME: Duration the lock-release relay remains active (1-9 seconds optional).
- OPEN DOOR DELAY: Time delay for the unlocked signal to start the relay (0-9 seconds optional). Useful when the lock is not close to the panel.
- DOOR ALARM: Triggered if the door remains open beyond the set time (options: Disable, 30s, 60s, 120s, 180s, 250s).
- DOOR FORCED ALARM: Triggered by abnormal door opening methods.
- EXT. UNLOCK: Enable or disable external relay unlock function.
- Relay 1-4 DOOR RELAY TIME: Lock-release relay active time (1-9 seconds optional).
- Relay 1-4 OPEN DOOR DELAY: Delay between unlock signal and relay activation (0-9 seconds optional).
- ADMIN CARD: Master card for enrolling additional prox cards. If no management software is available, enter '0000'. The first prox card read acts as the admin/master card. Resident cards can be added subsequently.
- DISARM BY CARD: When a card opens the door, the monitor's alarm status can change to HOME mode.
- GUEST CODE: Currently has no function.
- ACCESS PIN: Enable or disable PIN code access. Supports up to 8 PIN codes per panel, each 4 to 6 digits long.
REMARK: The F01491 (4 relay module) must be connected to the panel's RS485 port no.1. The module address must be set to number 2.
The web interface shows the Access Control Settings form with fields for Door Relay Time, Open Door Delay, Alarms, External Release, Admin Card, Disarm by Card, Guest Code, and Access PINs.
3.5 Face Recognition
Configure the face recognition function:
- FACE RECOGNITION: Enable or disable the function.
- SIMILARITY: Options include High, Medium, and Low (default is Low).
Face data must be added via the MEET management software.
The web interface shows the Face Recognition settings with options for Face Recognition, Model, Liveness Detection, and Similarity.
3.6 IP Camera
The monitor can display IP CCTV camera video during a conversation. This feature allows configuration of IP CCTV cameras using RTSP protocol to provide auxiliary views from the door or surrounding areas.
- NUMBER OF CAMS: Supports up to 4 IP cameras.
- CAMERA 1: IP camera name.
- URL: Format:
rtsp://user:password@ip_address_of_ip_camera
. User and password fields are optional and depend on the RTSP stream requirements.
The web interface shows the IP Camera Settings form with fields for Number of Cams and URLs for up to 4 IP cameras, including example configurations.
3.7 SIP Settings
Configure the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) settings:
- ENABLE SIP: Enable or disable the SIP function.
- SIP SERVER: SIP server IP address.
- DOMAIN: SIP server domain.
- OUTBOUND: Used when NAT is active on the router.
- STUN IP: IP address of the public network server for audio and video NAT traversal.
- STUN PORT: Port for audio and video NAT traversal.
- H.264: Video coding parameters.
- SIP USER: Username for the SIP account.
- SIP PASS: Password for the SIP account.
- CONVERSATION: Conversation duration (120s, 300s, 600s, 1200s, 1800s optional).
- RING TIME: Ring duration (35s, 45s, 60s, 90s, 120s optional).
REMARK: For the panel to function as a SIP device, making or receiving calls from other SIP devices, the SIP function must be enabled.
The web interface shows the SIP Settings form with fields for enabling SIP, server details, STUN settings, H.264, SIP user/pass, conversation, and ring time.
3.8 SIP Trunk
When a VoIP gateway or SIP server with a PSTN line is installed, the panel can divert calls to a user's mobile or landline telephone via a voice gateway.
- ENABLE SIP TRUNK: Enable or disable the SIP trunk function.
- URL: Format:
sip:sip_account@wan_IP:5062
The web interface shows the SIP Trunk Settings form with options to enable SIP Trunk and enter a URL.
3.9 Advanced
The DIRECTORY function can be enabled or disabled. Access the directory by pressing [A8]
or via the menu, provided the directory is enabled.
The web interface shows the Advanced Settings form, including options related to the directory.
3.10 Pincode Settings
This section allows changing the PIN code for the web server login.
The web interface shows the Pincode Settings form with fields for CURRENT PIN, NEW PIN, and CONFIRM PIN.
3.11 Reset
Options for resetting the panel:
- RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS: Resets all basic settings to factory defaults. The IP address will revert to 10.1.0.1.
- REBOOT DEVICE: Restarts the panel.
The web interface shows options to restore factory settings and reboot the device.
3.12 Logout
This function logs the user out of the web server.
The web interface shows a confirmation prompt: "DO YOU CONFIRM TO LOG OUT?" with an [OK]
button.
4 Installation
4.1 Installation height
The recommended installation height for the flush box is 1.62 meters from the ground plane.

4.2 Connectors
The panel features various connectors for its functions:
- RJ45 Network: For 10/100Mbps network connection.
- POWER INPUT DC12V: Terminals '+' and '-' for 12Vdc power supply.
- OUTPUT: Relay contacts (C, NO, NC) for lock release.
- EX.PROXIMITY: Terminals +5V, -, WD0, WD1 for Wigand-26 protocol input or output.
- Entrance hall button/Door-open sensor RS485:
- BS: Exit button.
- NA: Fire alarm input (connects to Block Device NO 1).
- SP: Door-open sensor.
- RS485: Terminals 485+ and 485- for connection to lift control gateways or F01491 (4 relay module).

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.
