Installation Procedure
Step 1a: Drilling
Drill a hole perpendicular (90°) to the surface. The required hole diameter (d0) is 8mm. The hole depth (h1) must be equal to hnom + 5mm.

Step 1b: Hole Cleaning
Clean the drilled hole thoroughly using a brush and compressed air. Recommended air pressure is 6 bar / 90 psi. Tools such as DD EC-1 or DD 30-W are indicated for this process.

Step 1c: Final Hole Preparation
Ensure the effective thread engagement depth (h1,nc) is hnom + 17mm. Verify that the minimum hole depth (hmin) minus the effective thread engagement depth (h1,nc) is greater than 21mm (hmin - h1, nc > 21mm). The diagram suggests drilling 3 times.

Step 2a: Anchor Insertion
Insert the anchor into the prepared hole. Use a hammer [hammer] to gently tap the anchor until it is flush with the surface. Visual inspection [eye] is advised.

Step 2b: Anchor Setting
Set the anchor using the designated setting tool (HS-SC). The tool engages the anchor head, and arrows indicate the direction of force application.

Step 3: Nut Tightening
Tighten the nut using a wrench. The diagram shows correct tightening (✔️) and incorrect tightening (❌). An eye symbol [eye] highlights the importance of visual inspection during this step.

Step 4a: Torque Application
Apply the specified installation torque (Tinst = 20Nm) using a 13mm socket and a torque wrench [torque-wrench].

Step 4b: Final Tightening
Perform final tightening with a power drill [power-drill] and a 13mm socket. The diagram shows the anchor head correctly seated against the fixture, with a checkmark [check] indicating proper installation.
