Trolley Replacement Guide
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for changing the transport trolley of the Inmotion V11 Gyroroue.
Estimated Time: 0h30 (disassembly and reassembly)
Difficulty Index: [Difficulty: 2/5 - Easy/Moderate]
Necessary Materials:
- 1 x 10mm flat wrench
- 1 x 3mm Allen key
- 1 x 4mm Allen key
Step 1: Remove the Seat
To access the seat and its reinforcing attachments, you need to unscrew 4 screws.
Use a 3mm Allen key to unscrew the screws located at the top of the seat, behind the seat near the headlights. The bottom screws are located above the pedals.
Visual Description: The gyroroue is shown with arrows pointing to the locations of the screws. Images show close-ups of the front screws, rear screws, and screws above the pedals.
Once the 4 screws are removed, you can slide this side of the seat along its rail by pushing it upwards.
Little Tip: Be sure to differentiate the headlight screws from the pedal screws to facilitate reassembly.
Step 2: Separation
First, remove the retaining pin from the suspension tube (photo 1).
Unscrew the cap (photo 2).
Using a 10mm flat wrench, remove the locking nut (photo 3).
With a 4mm Allen key, unscrew the 4 screws that attach the rail and the trolley (photo 4). At this stage, one side of the trolley is free.
Visual Description: Photos illustrate removing a pin, unscrewing a cap, removing a nut with a wrench, and unscrewing screws with an Allen key.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the second side of the seat.
Step 4: Disconnection
Now, we will disconnect the motor cutoff switch (photo 1).
Gently pull to detach the cap of the motor cutoff switch cable (photo 2) and remove the connector from the shell.
Disconnect the motor cutoff switch connector (photo 3). You can now remove the trolley.
Visual Description: Photos show the location of the motor cutoff switch cable and how to disconnect it.
Little Tip: Leave the internal connector on the outside to reconnect the motor cutoff switch when reassembling the new trolley.
Step 5: Reassembly
Install the new trolley in place. Ensure it is oriented correctly.
Repeat the disassembly steps in reverse order:
- Reconnect the motor cutoff switch and carefully replace the joint in the shell.
- Screw the trolley back onto the rail.
- Replace and screw the suspension tube cap.
- Reposition the seat.
