3. How to use?
3.1 Preparation before using
The V12 is a personal electric transportation product. Improper use can lead to injury and property damage. Read this manual carefully and follow all instructions and safety precautions. Before riding, ensure all parts of the V12 are undamaged and properly installed. Charge the unicycle for at least 3 hours before the first ride. Practice in a spacious, flat area (at least 4m x 4m), ensuring the environment is free from obstacles like cars, pedestrians, or pets. It is recommended to have an experienced assistant present. Avoid practicing on slippery or wet surfaces. Wear comfortable casual or sports clothing, flat-soled shoes, and perform warm-up exercises. Always wear a helmet and protective gear to prevent injuries.
3.2 Install the App
The Inmotion V12 supports Bluetooth 5.0 BLE. The BLE ID is V12-XXXXXXXX, where XXXXXXXX represents the last 8 digits of the S/N. Download the Inmotion App on your mobile device (iOS 8.0+ or Android 4.4+) and follow the on-screen prompts to connect your unicycle. More details are available on the official website for the latest app version.

3.3 How to ride
Before riding, ensure you have taken all safety measures, including wearing sports clothing, a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and other protective gear.
- Place one foot on the pedal and glide the wheel back and forth.
- With one foot on the pedal, keep your body upright and gradually shift your center of gravity onto the unicycle.
- With one foot on the pedal, try lifting the other foot off the ground for 1-2 seconds.
- Place the second foot on the pedal and glide forward.
- Lean forward or backward to accelerate or decelerate.
- Press the pedals with your feet using different forces to make turns left or right.
4. Care and Maintenance
4.1 Storage
Store the unicycle V12 in a dry indoor location with appropriate temperature and humidity (15-25°C). If not using for an extended period, recharge the battery at least once a month.
4.2 Battery Maintenance
- Avoid storing the battery in environments with temperatures above 45°C or below -2°C (e.g., do not leave the unicycle in a car under strong sunlight in summer). Do not dispose of the battery in fire, as this can cause battery failure, overheating, or fire. Refer to the battery label for other maintenance precautions.
- Avoid completely draining the battery before recharging. It is recommended to charge before first use to extend battery life.
- Battery mileage is higher at regular temperatures. Performance declines below 0°C. At -20°C, mileage may be halved. Mileage will recover once temperatures rise. Refer to the App for details.
- The V12 battery depletes in standby mode after approximately 120-180 days, even when fully charged. Failure to recharge within this period can cause irreversible damage due to over-discharge. The battery's BMS records charging/discharging cycles. Damage from prolonged non-charging is not covered by warranty.
Warning: Use only the original charger.
4.3 Inflate and replace the inner/outer tires
If tire pressure is insufficient, inflate the tires. The default pressure for unicycles is 2.8 Bar.
4.4 Cleaning and reminding
- Before cleaning, power off the unicycle, unplug the charger, and ensure the charging port is dry.
- Wipe the exterior of the V12 with a soft cloth using soapy water or clean water. Do not use a high-pressure water gun.
- The Inmotion V12 has an IPX5 rating; do not immerse it in water, as this can cause permanent damage.
Do not clean unicycle parts with alcohol, gasoline, oil, or other corrosive chemical solvents, as this can seriously damage the appearance and internal structure.
4.5 Safety Instructions
For your safety and a better riding experience, please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Read and fully understand the User Manual before riding.
- Do not allow persons under 16 years of age to ride.
- Pregnant women and individuals with balance disorders or other contraindications should not ride.
- Do not ride while sick, taking medication, drinking alcohol, or if your physical or mental state is not good.
- The unicycle is for single riders only. Do not ride with children or carry heavy items.
- Ensure you have sufficient physical ability to mount and dismount the unicycle without assistance.
- Do not modify or repair the unicycle without authorization.
- Do not ride if the unit has sustained any damage.
- Before charging, ensure the charging port is dry and free of foreign matter. Use only the original charger and keep the unicycle away from children, pets, and flammable objects.
- Do not charge or use the battery outside the temperature range of -2°C to 45°C. Store the battery between -2°C and 45°C. For long-term storage, keep it in a room with temperatures between 15°C and 25°C.
- Immediately stop using the unicycle if its battery is damaged.
- Do not attempt to open or disassemble the battery.
- The V11 battery depletes in standby mode in approximately 180 days when at five bars, and 30 days when at one bar. Failure to recharge can cause irreversible damage.
- Always wear appropriate footwear. High heels or loose shoes are not permitted. Do not ride barefoot.
- Wear protective glasses to prevent eye injury from dust, insects, or other airborne particles.
- Do not ride in heavy rain or through puddles. Sudden braking on wet or slippery surfaces can lead to loss of control and injury. Ensure your path is safe and adjust speed accordingly.
- Do not ride in adverse weather conditions such as heavy rain, fog, low visibility, strong winds, or other unsuitable conditions.
- Do not ride when extremely fatigued.
- Monitor changing road and weather conditions and adjust your speed to avoid causing injury to yourself or others.
- Do not ride over stairs or jump over obstacles.
- Maintain adequate clearance between the unicycle body and any obstacles.
- Avoid taking excessive risks on steep slopes, uneven surfaces, or terrains you are unfamiliar with.
- Do not use your phone while riding.
- Do not touch the motor after riding, as it may be hot.
- Parameters may vary by model and region. Inmotion Technologies Co., Ltd. reserves the right to change product design, functions, and documentation without prior notice.
