User Manual
1. Precautions
WARNING: SHOCK HAZARD - DO NOT OPEN
The lightning bolt symbol within an equilateral triangle warns the user of the presence of uninsulated 'dangerous voltage' inside the product, sufficient to constitute an electric shock hazard to persons.
The exclamation mark in an equilateral triangle warns the user of important operating and maintenance instructions (routine maintenance) in the documents accompanying the appliance.
CAUTION (if applicable): Terminals marked with the "< <" symbol may have sufficient magnitude to constitute an electric shock hazard. External wiring connected to the terminals requires installation by a trained person or the use of ready-made cables or cords.
CAUTION: To prevent fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture.
CAUTION: Class I construction appliances must be connected using a socket with earth protection.
CAUTION: Ecler products have a long lifespan, over 10 years. This product must not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste. Take it to the nearest electrical and electronic waste treatment center.
1.1 Important Notice
Read these instructions. Keep these instructions. Heed all warnings. Follow all instructions. Do not use this apparatus near water. Clean only with a dry cloth. Do not block ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Do not install near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades, one wider than the other. A grounding-type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The third prong is for your safety. If the provided cord does not fit into your outlet, ask an electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus. Use only attachments/accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
1.2 Important Safety Instructions
- Read these instructions.
- Keep these instructions.
- Heed all warnings.
- Follow all instructions.
- Do not use this apparatus near water.
- Clean only with a dry cloth.
- Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
- Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, cookers or any other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
- Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a grounding prong. The third prong is for your safety. If the supplied plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician to replace your obsolete outlet.
- Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, or in particular at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
- Only use attachments/accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
- Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
- For servicing, contact qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
- Disconnecting from the mains: Pressing the POWER switch disables the functions and indicator lights of the amplifier, but the complete disconnection of the apparatus is achieved by unplugging the power cord from the mains. This is why you should always have easy access to it.
- This apparatus must be connected to ground via its power cord.
- Part of the product labeling is located at the base of the product.
- This apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
1.3 Cleaning
Clean the apparatus with a soft, dry cloth or a slightly damp cloth with only water and neutral liquid soap, then wipe it with a dry cloth. Ensure that no water ever enters the apparatus through its openings. Never use alcohol, benzine, solvents, or abrasive substances.
NEEC AUDIO BARCELONA, S.L. declines all responsibility for damages that may be caused to persons, animals or objects due to non-compliance with the above warnings.

3. Package Contents
- 1 NIMBO-24 loudspeaker.
- 1 VEASY wall mount with vertical and horizontal adjustment (VESA compatible).
- 2 Euroblock connectors.
- Quick start guide
- Warranty card.
4. Description and Characteristics
The NIMBO-24 is a high-performance 2-way passive loudspeaker with a power output of 80 W RMS, offering extended low-frequency response in a compact format. It is suitable for outdoor applications, with a cloud-inspired design, resulting from Ecler's engineering expertise and collaboration with architects and interior designers.
It includes 2 x 4" woofers and a 1" silk dome tweeter placed at the acoustic center, acting as a single point source to disperse sound uniformly.
The nominal impedance of the loudspeaker can be set to 4 ohms or 16 ohms via the selector located on the front, behind the logo, which allows changing the impedance without removing the aluminum grille.
The robust VEASY wall mount provided allows for tilt and horizontal orientation adjustment with a single screw. It is quick and easy to install, with notches and markers for reproducing the same orientation of the speakers.
4.1 Main Characteristics
- 2-way passive loudspeaker for surface or ceiling mounting.
- 2 x 4" woofers with 4-layer mobile voice coil enhance power handling and low-frequency response.
- 1" silk dome tweeter with neodymium magnet and ferrofluid.
- Compact, non-resonant enclosure made of fiberglass-reinforced ABS.
- Wide dispersion pattern.
- Compatible with VEASY, VESA 75 fixings included.
- Quick and easy installation, with notches and markers for reproducing the same orientation of the speakers.
- Weather-protected with IP-44 rating.
- Available in white (RAL9003), black (RAL9005), gold (RAL1036, approx.), and titanium (RAL9007 MATT) finishes.
- Possibility of customization by RAL painting.
5. Connections
Connection cables linking amplifier outputs to loudspeakers should be of good quality, with an adapted section and as short as possible. This latter point is particularly important when the distance is long and the load impedance is low (4-16 Ω). A section of at least 2.5 mm² is recommended for distances up to 10 m; 4 or 6 mm² for longer distances. The following formula gives the required section, assuming 4% losses:
Section in mm² = Length in m / Impedance of the speaker in Ω
Always respect polarity. The loudspeaker has an Euroblock connector for the input (INPUT) and a second Euroblock connector for the link (STACK), facilitating parallel connection of the loudspeaker.
See the detailed connection diagram on the following page.
5.1 Connection Diagram
Diagram 1 shows the input and stack connectors. Diagram 2 shows the fixing screw for the cover.

5.2 Outdoor Installation
For outdoor installations, guide the cables in a "U" shape as shown in the image, entering the rubber cable gland of the speaker from bottom to top.
[Diagram illustrating cable routing for outdoor installation.]
For outdoor installations, use a round tool to pierce the cable glands. Avoid straight cuts. Also, use round profile cables rather than parallel cables.

6. Impedance Selector
The NIMBO-24 operates in low impedance. For this, it has a 2-position selector on the front (behind the logo) that allows choosing its operating mode without removing the grille.

8. Recommended Amplifier
The recommended amplifier output power for the NIMBO-24 is 150 W RMS.
9. Positioning and Installation
9.1 Positioning
Consider the general rules as follows:
Place the loudspeaker on a solid and firm surface. No obstacle should be between the speakers and the audience. High frequencies are very directional compared to low frequencies, so any obstacle hinders their response. In cases where a large audience needs to be covered, better sound propagation over a long distance will be achieved if the speakers are hung sufficiently high.
