1. Important Preliminary Notes

The lightning symbol with an arrow inside an equilateral triangle is intended to warn the user about non-insulated "dangerous voltage" inside the product enclosure, which may be sufficient to cause an electric shock to a person.

The exclamation mark inside an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance information in the accompanying documentation.

WARNING (if applicable): Connections marked with the symbol "⚡" may carry a risk of electric shock. External wiring connected to the terminals must be installed by qualified personnel or with pre-assembled cables.

WARNING: To prevent fire and electric shock hazards, never expose the unit to rain or moisture.

WARNING: A Class I device must be connected to a grounded socket.

2. Important Safety Instructions

1. Read this manual carefully.
2. Keep this manual in a safe place.

5. Never use the unit near water.
6. Clean the unit only with a dry cloth.
7. Do not block the ventilation openings. Install the unit according to the manufacturer's instructions.
8. Do not install the unit near heat sources such as radiators, ovens, or other heat-generating appliances, including amplifiers.
9. Never disable the safety feature of a polarized or grounded power cord. A polarized cord has two prongs, one wider than the other. A grounded plug has two prongs and a ground contact. This third prong is for your safety. If the supplied cable does not fit your outlet, please contact an electrician to replace the outdated outlet.
10. Ensure that the power cord is not pinched, especially in the area of the plugs, sockets, and where the cable exits the unit.
11. Use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
12. Disconnect the unit from the mains during thunderstorms or when it will not be used for extended periods.
13. Always contact qualified service personnel for necessary repairs. Repair is required if the unit is not functioning normally or has been damaged for any reason, e.g., damage to the cord or plug, if liquids or foreign objects have entered the unit, or if the unit has been exposed to rain or dropped.
14. Disconnecting from the mains: By switching off the POWER switch, all functions and indicators of the unit are disabled. However, to completely disconnect from the mains, the power cord must be pulled from its socket. This socket must therefore always be easily accessible.
15. The unit must be connected via the power cord to a grounded socket.
16. Part of the product labeling is located in the base.
17. This unit must not be exposed to any dripping or splashing water; no containers filled with liquids, e.g., vases, should be placed on it.

4. Introduction

The ECLER IG108 is a waterproof loudspeaker (IP65) with a 360° horizontal dispersion pattern. It is ideal for music applications and announcements in outdoor areas where a reliable and high-quality sound system is needed.

• Selector switch for 8 ohm / 100V operating mode (7.5, 15, 30, or 60 W)
• 6-inch Kevlar® Woofer / 1-inch Tweeter
• Frequency response (-10 dB): 50 Hz-23 kHz
• Spherical dispersion pattern (circular coverage from 4 to 6m radius per loudspeaker in standard applications)
• Available in green (RAL 6005)

5. Mounting and Installation

Diagrams illustrating the mounting and installation process are provided.

One diagram shows the in-ground installation, with the speaker placed in a gravel-filled pit. Another diagram shows an incorrect installation, with the speaker submerged in water, marked with a red cross.

6. Connections

Diagrams show the connection terminals, including a 6-10mmØ cable entry. The speaker itself has terminals labeled N.C. and a connection for the power type selector (8Ω, 70V, 100V) with power options like 7.5W, 15W, 30W, 60W.

The diagram also shows a screwdriver adjusting a switch labeled 'W' on the speaker unit.
