Introduction
This document provides comprehensive instructions for the assembly, use, and care of your FRISCO 55-inch Faux Fur Cat Tree & Condo. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning assembly. Ensure all parts are present and undamaged.
Safety First: Always assemble on a flat, stable surface. Keep small parts away from children and pets during assembly. Ensure the cat tree is stable before allowing pets to use it.

Condo Box | 1 | Enclosed cubby with an entrance opening. |

Connecting Tubes/Rods | Varies | Used to connect platforms and posts. |
Hardware Kit | 1 | Includes screws, bolts, washers, and an Allen wrench. (Specific types and quantities vary.) |
A diagram typically illustrates each part with corresponding labels and quantities. For example, 'Part A: Base Platform (x1)', 'Part B: Condo Box (x1)', 'Part C: Short Post (x2)', 'Part D: Long Post (x2)', 'Part E: Perch Platform (x2)', 'Part F: Top Lounger (x1)', 'Hardware Pack (x1)' containing screws of different lengths (e.g., M6x50mm, M8x70mm) and an Allen key.
Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps to assemble your cat tree. Refer to the included diagrams for visual guidance on part orientation and screw placement.
- Attach Posts to Base: Place the base platform on a flat surface. Screw the designated posts (e.g., longer posts) into the pre-drilled holes on the base platform. Ensure they are tightened securely using the provided hardware and Allen wrench.
- Add Condo Box: If the condo box attaches to the base, screw the appropriate posts into the condo box first, then attach the condo box assembly to the base. Alternatively, if the condo box attaches to a platform, proceed to the next step.
- Attach Platforms: Screw the next set of posts into the top of the previously attached posts or the base. Then, place the first set of perch platforms onto these posts and secure them from underneath with screws.
- Continue Building Layers: Repeat the process of attaching posts and platforms, working your way upwards. Ensure each connection is firm and stable. The condo box may be integrated at this stage, connecting between platforms.
- Install Top Perch: Attach the final posts and secure the top perch or lounger platform. This is often the largest resting area.
- Final Check: Once assembled, gently shake the cat tree to ensure it is stable and all connections are tight. Tighten any loose screws.
The original assembly diagram (组装图) would visually guide each step, showing which screw type (e.g., M8x70mm) connects which parts (e.g., base to post) and the orientation of components like the condo entrance.
Use and Care Instructions
Proper placement and maintenance will ensure your cat tree provides lasting enjoyment for your pet.
Placement:
- Place the cat tree indoors on a level, stable surface.
- Position it in an area where your cat enjoys spending time, preferably near a window or a comfortable resting spot.
- Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or excessively damp areas.
- Ensure it is not blocking walkways.
Care and Maintenance:
- Cleaning: For the faux fur surfaces, spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Vacuum regularly to remove pet hair. For stubborn stains, consult a professional upholstery cleaner.
- Stability: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Tighten as needed.
- Sisal Rope: If scratching posts are wrapped in sisal rope, inspect them for wear. Replace posts if the rope becomes significantly frayed or detached.
- Safety: If any part becomes loose or damaged, discontinue use until it is repaired or replaced.
Troubleshooting & Tips
Cat Not Using the Tree?
- Try placing treats or catnip on the platforms to encourage exploration.
- Ensure the tree is placed in a location your cat feels safe and comfortable.
- Some cats may take time to adjust to new furniture. Be patient.
Stability Concerns:
- Ensure the base is on a perfectly flat surface.
- Double-check all screws are fully tightened.
- If the tree feels wobbly, consider adding weight to the base or securing it to a wall (if appropriate hardware is available and the wall is suitable).
