Setting Up the DoorBird IP Video Door Station
To enable proper communication between the DoorBird IP Video Door Station and the Yale Smart Lock, adjust the DoorBird device's settings as follows:
- Open the DoorBird App. Tap the settings cogwheel icon ⚙️ located at the bottom right of the screen.
- Select the device you wish to configure.
- On the next screen, scroll down and tap the field within the "SMARTLOCKS" section.
- From the list of compatible smart locks, select "Yale Bridge (API integration)".
- The Yale Login screen will appear. Enter your Yale account credentials and tap "SIGN IN".
- A verification code will be sent to your smartphone. Enter this code in the provided field and tap "Verify".
- When prompted for app privileges, tap "Agree".
- If you have multiple Yale locks associated with your account, you will be prompted to choose which lock to connect with your DoorBird IP Video Door Station.
The setup of the Yale Smart Lock is now successfully completed.
