② If the inside of your lock cylinder is a keyhole, proceed directly to the next step.

Important Note: Before installation, ensure your lock cylinder allows the door to be unlocked from the outside even when a key is inserted on the inside. If not, contact customer support for recommended cylinders and replace the cylinder before proceeding.
Cylinder Types and Adapter Dimensions:
Type | Dimensions |
---|---|
EVVA, CES | 10 mm |
CISA, ABUS, AXA, ISEO, BRICARD | 7.9 mm, 6.9 mm |
KESO | 7 mm |
DORM, AKABA | 8 mm, 6 mm |
WINKHAUS, DOM | 13 mm |
NEMEF | 12 mm |
YALE, M&C | 8 mm |
MAUER | 9.5 mm |
Step 2: Select a Suitable Mounting Bracket
Measure the height of the protruding part of your cylinder.
① If the height is ≥ 3 mm, use Mounting Plate A.
Diagram: [Shows a cylinder with a protruding part measured as >= 3mm, with Mounting Plate A indicated.]
② If the height is < 3 mm, use Mounting Plate B.
Diagram: [Shows a cylinder with a protruding part measured as < 3mm, with Mounting Plate B indicated.]
Step 3: Install the Mounting Bracket
Mounting Plate A: Align the opening on the mounting bracket with the cylinder and attach the bracket to your door lock. Use the small hex wrench to secure the three hex screws on the bracket.
Diagram: [Shows attaching Mounting Plate A to a door lock and tightening screws with a small hex wrench.]
Mounting Plate B: First, clean the mounting surface with the provided wet wipe. Apply the adhesive primer to the mounting surface. Peel off the 3M adhesive tape on the back of the bracket, align the bracket's hole with your lock cylinder, and firmly attach it to your door. Press firmly for at least 2 minutes to ensure secure installation.
Tip: If the contact surface is small or you have concerns about the tape's adhesion, you can secure the mounting plate with screws. Refer to the following illustrations.
Diagram: [Shows cleaning the door, applying primer, peeling tape, attaching Plate B, and pressing firmly.]
Step 4: Insert Key (For Keyhole Cylinders Only)
Insert the key into the cylinder.

Step 5: Install Your Lock Pro
① Rotate the Lock Pro's rotary knob to align the internal nut with the key or cylinder adapter, and securely insert the key or cylinder adapter into the nut.

② Insert the four internal hex screws into the screw holes on both sides of the Lock Pro.
Diagram: [Shows tightening the internal hex screws on the Lock Pro.]
Step 6: Install the Magnet
① Install the magnet according to the actual installation position of your Lock Pro. It is recommended that the top edge of the Lock Pro's rotary knob and the magnet are horizontally aligned, with a distance of 20 to 40 mm between them.
② Peel off the adhesive tape on the back of the magnet, attach it to the door frame, and hold it firmly for at least 60 seconds until it is set.
Diagram: [Shows magnet placement on door frame, distance measurement 20-40mm, and holding it firmly.]
Note:
- Place your magnet with the marked side facing the Lock Pro's rotary knob. If not done correctly, your device may not detect door opening and closing.
- If the adhesive tape on the back of the magnet does not adhere properly, apply the additional double-sided tape to the marked side. Then, attach the magnet to your door frame.
Tip: After installation and calibration with the magnet, you can view your door's status and use features like Auto-Lock in our app.
Step 7: Add Lock Pro to SwitchBot App and Calibrate
① Remove the battery insulation tab. Once the Lock Pro is powered on, the LED indicator on the front will blink slowly blue, indicating that your device is in pairing mode. [Checkmark Icon] [Cross Mark Icon]
② Open our app and tap the "+" icon in the top right corner of the homepage, then select "Add Device". Search for the device icon and select it. Follow the on-screen instructions to add Lock Pro and complete the calibration process.
Step 8: Attach Temporary Support Strap
① If you chose Mounting Plate B for the installation of your Lock Pro, you must attach the temporary support strap as the final step. Select an angle as shown in the illustration below and attach the temporary support strap (blue) to your Lock Pro. Ensure the strap presses against the Lock Pro and remains taut.
② After 48 hours, hold your Lock Pro firmly and carefully remove the strap. Your Lock Pro can be used normally within the 48 hours.
