Configure Parameters:
First, connect the data logger to the computer's USB port and wait until the [USB connected] icon shows on the LCD. Then, configure parameters using the ElitechLog software:
- If default parameters are acceptable: Click "Quick Reset" under the "Summary" menu to synchronize local time before usage.
- If parameters need changing: Click the "Parameter" menu, enter your preferred values, and click "Save Parameter" to complete the configuration.
Warning! For first-time users or after battery replacement: To avoid time or time zone errors, ensure you click "Quick Reset" or "Save Parameter" before usage to sync and configure your local time into the logger.
-
Start Logging:
- Press Button: Press and hold the left button for 5 seconds until the [logging] icon shows on the LCD, indicating the logger has started logging.
- Auto Start:
- Immediate Start: The logger starts logging immediately after being unplugged from the computer.
- Timed Start: The logger starts a countdown after removal from the computer and will begin logging automatically at the set date/time.
Note: If the [start delay] icon keeps flashing, it indicates the logger is configured with a start delay; logging will commence after the set delay time elapses.
- Mark Events: Press and hold the left button for 5 seconds to mark the current temperature and time. Up to 10 groups can be marked. After marking, the LCD will display the currently marked groups.
-
Stop Logging:
- Press Button: Press and hold the right button for 5 seconds until the [stop] icon shows on the LCD, indicating the logger has stopped logging.
- Auto Stop: The logger stops automatically when the recorded data points reach the maximum memory capacity.

-
Download Data:
Connect the data logger to your computer's USB port and wait for the [USB connected] icon to appear on the LCD. Then, download data:
- Without ElitechLog Software: Locate and open the "ElitechLog" removable storage device. Save the auto-generated PDF report to your computer for viewing.
- With ElitechLog Software: After the logger auto-uploads data to the ElitechLog software, click "Export" and select your preferred file format. If auto-upload fails, manually click "Download" and repeat the process.
-
Re-use the Logger:
To reuse a logger, stop it first. Then, connect it to your computer and use the ElitechLog software to save or export the data. Next, reconfigure the logger by repeating the steps in "2. Configure Parameters". Finally, follow "3. Start Logging" to restart the logger for new logging sessions.
Warning! Reconfiguration will delete all previous logging data. Save or export data before reconfiguring. If data was not saved, try locating it in the "History" menu of the ElitechLog software.
-
Repeat Start: To restart a stopped logger, you can press and hold the left button to quickly start logging without reconfiguration.
Note: Always back up data before restarting by repeating "6. Download Data".
