Elitech LogEt 5 Series Multilingual Specification

The Elitech LogEt 5 series data loggers are designed for comprehensive temperature and humidity monitoring across various stages of storage and cold chain logistics. They are suitable for use in refrigerated containers, trucks, cooler bags, medical cabinets, freezers, and laboratories.

These loggers feature an LCD screen and a dual-button design to prevent accidental activation. They support multiple start and stop modes, configurable alarm thresholds, and two data storage options: stop when full or cyclic record. Users can easily check data through automatically generated PDF reports without the need for additional software.

Operation Instructions

1. Install Software

Download and install the free ElitechLog software (macOS and Windows) from www.elitechlog.com/softwares.

2. Configure Parameters

Connect the data logger to the computer's USB port. Configure parameters via the ElitechLog software. For first-time use or after battery replacement, ensure local time is synchronized by clicking 'Quick Reset' or 'Save Parameter'.

3. Start Logging

Press Button: Press and hold the left button for 5 seconds. The logger starts logging.

Auto Start: Immediate Start (starts upon disconnection) or Timed Start (starts at a preset date/time).

4. Mark Events

Double-click the left button to mark the current temperature and time (up to 10 groups).

5. Stop Logging

Press Button: Press and hold the right button for 5 seconds. The logger stops logging.

Auto Stop: Stops automatically when memory is full.

Use Software: Open ElitechLog software and click 'Stop Logging'.

6. Download Data

Connect the logger to the computer via USB. A PDF report generates automatically. Data can also be exported via the ElitechLog software.

7. Re-use the Logger

After stopping, save or export data. Reconfigure parameters and restart logging.

8. Repeat Start

Press and hold the left button to quickly restart a stopped logger without reconfiguring.

Status Indication

1. Button Functions

Press and hold left button (5s): Start logging
Press and hold right button (5s): Stop logging
Press and release left button: Check/Switch interfaces
Press and release right button: Back to main menu
Double click left button: Mark events (under logging status)

2. LCD Screen Indicators

The LCD screen displays various information including temperature/humidity values, alarm status, working status, battery level, date, time, and logging progress.

3. LCD Interface Icons

Various icons indicate logging status, alarms, USB communication, and parameter configuration.

4. LCD-LED Indication

Not Started: Both LEDs flash once.
Started: LED flashes to indicate status (e.g., alarm, no alarm).
Mark Data: LED flashes twice.
Stop Logging: LED flashes 5 times.

Battery Replacement

(1) Turn the battery cover counter-clockwise and remove it.

(2) Insert a new battery with the '+' side up.

(3) Turn the battery cover clockwise to tighten.
